Hello! My name is Blessy and I am currently a third-year medical student with over six years of tutoring experience, including three years on the GoStudent platform. Outside of academics, I enjoy going to the gym, watching films and crocheting in my spare time. Alongside tutoring, I also lead teaching sessions for other medical students at my university, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and adapt to different learning styles. I take a patient and supportive approach and am particularly experienced in working with students who may feel shy, lack confidence or struggle with focus, helping them feel more comfortable and engaged in their learning! I achieved seven 9s, two 8s, one 7, two Distinction* and one Distinction grade at GCSE (all sat in person), along with ABB at A-level in Chemistry, Biology, and Maths. I am currently a medical student studying abroad. My academic background and experience mean I am very familiar with the demands of these subjects. This, combined with a patient and structured approach, allows me to support students in developing both a strong understanding and effective strategies to help them succeed!

I am a PhD student in post-quantum cryptography. I have a BSc and MSc in pure maths. I have been tutoring maths since 2018 to undergraduate, A-level and GCSE students. I actively contribute to the mathematical community. Organising Junior Maths Seminars at King's College and serving as the Imperial College MSc Pure Maths Class Representative showcase my commitment to academic leadership. I bring a diverse skill set and a passion for problem-solving to any mathematics-related roles. PhD researcher in post-quantum cryptography at Imperial College London, with a BSc in Mathematics from King's College London and an MSc in Pure Mathematics from Imperial. Skilled in Python, R and C++, with a strong interest in AI, machine learning and their scientific applications. I have organised maths seminars and served as class representative, reflecting a genuine commitment to education.

Lower Level: Business Studies, English Literature GCSE: Business Studies, English Literature, English Language A-Level: Business Studies, English Literature Preferred exam board experience: AQA for both English and Business Studies, however, the Edexcel Business Studies course has a lot of crossover and therefore could teach this. Languages: German up to GCSE level. Preferred student age group: Primary Level and GCSE level however would be happy to teach up to A-Level for both subjects. From a young age I had a passion for teaching; setting up my dolls and teaching them about whatever I had learnt that day at school, now I have the opportunity to do that and see the results of what we have gone through. Throughout sixth form, alongside my A-Levels I would tutor the younger pupils and help them gain confidence and find enjoyment in learning. now at University, whilst I no longer have the opportunity to do this I now volunteer at the local hospital organising activity evenings for the patients there. Not only do I meet a variety of people here but it has also greatly improved my organisational skills and challenged my already creative brain to new lengths. When I get the chance to relax I do so by reading. I hope that I can incorporate my love for literature in my teaching to create memorable and long lasting connections through what I teach my students. I hope my passion for teaching can be seen through my lessons and will inspire those who I work with to achieve their personal and academic goals! Up until leaving school at 18 I attended The Priory Academy LSST. Here I completed my GCSEs, coming away with 12 GCSEs securing two 9s in English Literature and English Language. I decided to choose English Literature, Psychology and Business Studies as my A-Level options and completed the two years with an A* in Psychology, an A in English Literature and a B in Business Studies. Currently, I am in my first year at Durham University studying Psychology with an optional module in English Literature.

With six years of experience as a former engineer in a Japanese multinational company, I’ve had the opportunity to live in Japan, Thailand, and Germany. Chatting with people from all walks of life? Yep, that’s my jam! 🌏😃 Currently, I teach KS2 / KS3 / GCSE / IGCSE/ A Level Maths for AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and CAIE exam boards, and KS3 / GCSE / IGCSE Physics (not Year 10 above). I also teach Maths for the MYP and IB Diploma Programme. I use resources from Pearson, Hodder, Cambridge, Oxford, Collins, Haese, and past papers as reference materials. Furthermore, I'm TEFL-certified and have been teaching English (ESL, Key (A2) PET (B1), First (B2), Advanced (C1) Certification), Math, Physics, and basic Japanese (N5-N4) part-time online for several years. With my engineering background, I also have a solid foundation in some Physics. Finally, I have Japanese Language Proficiency N3 (Intermediate) Level, so I can teach N5-N4 (Beginner) level Japanese to those who are interested in this language.
