Hello! This is Quratu Layan Choudhry. I’m a passionate and highly experienced educator with over 11 years of teaching experience across all grade levels. My primary focus is on English Language and English Literature, particularly at GCSE level, where I specialise in preparing students for the AQA exam board. I’ve worked extensively with students of all abilities, helping them to build confidence, improve their analytical and writing skills, and achieve excellent results through carefully structured, engaging lessons tailored to their individual needs. In addition to English, I have also spent many years teaching Science—with a particular emphasis on Physics—and Geography, providing a well-rounded academic foundation for students in Key Stages 3 and 4. I teach English Literature and English Language to GCSE aged students. I also teach English as a foreign language to both children and adults. I teach Philosophy, Ethics, and Religious Studies up to GCSE level. I teach English to French students and can speak conversational French to aid this. I tutor students working towards their IELTS qualification. I have a Masters in Mental and Moral Science (Philosophy) from Trinity College, Dublin and am looking to further my formal education in the coming years aside from the countless MOOCs I've taken ranging from Opera to Counter-Terrorism classes. I enjoy Creative Writing and am always penning stories or poetry.
