I am a medical student with A*AA at A-level, including an A* in Biology, and top GCSEs (all 9s in triple sciences, Geography, English Language, and RS). With 2 years of tutoring experience, I combine strong subject knowledge with a supportive approach, helping students not only achieve excellent results but also enjoy the learning process and grow in confidence. I attended Townley Grammar School and its Sixth Form, achieving 9999998877 at GCSE, with grade 9s in all Triple Sciences, English Language, Religious Studies, and Geography. At A-level I achieved A*AA in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, with an A* in Biology, and I am now studying Medicine at university. Alongside my studies, I have over 2 years’ experience tutoring GCSE English and Maths and mentoring students in Triple Science, supporting them as they prepared for exams. I also led my school’s Science Club, helping to inspire younger students and make science engaging beyond the classroom. In addition, I achieved a Bronze award in the British Biology Olympiad, reflecting both my academic ability and enthusiasm for learning. These experiences have strengthened my subject knowledge and my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, motivate students, and build their confidence.

Hi my name is Jesse, I’m a 33 year old German national that has lived in the UK since the age of 12. I work in IT where I speak German on a daily basis. I have been informally tutoring since 2010. I have been tutoring university level German but I’m comfortable with teaching any level of German 😀. Hi there! I have over 4 years experience tutoring a range of subjects. My specialties are maths, physics, chemistry and Spanish, which I've mostly taught at A-Level and GCSE tiers. I have a BA in mathematics which I studied alongside tutoring, so I can appreciate teaching from both sides of the classroom. Much of my experience revolves around helping students to prepare for exams, and working through past papers together is an invaluable tool for this. I'm also very passionate about my subjects, with STEM I've always had a deep personal interest in how the Universe works, and I've always loved Spain and seeing how the logic in different languages works. I enjoy explaining what I know to others, which puts me in a good position to be a tutor. It's also great to see students progressing over time. My tutoring method is based around giving the student the tools they need and guiding them to solve problems themselves, rather than simply being told the answers. I believe this process helps students to learn how to think critically, and thus become more independent and able to solve problems on their own in the future. Hello, my name is Alex. I am a first year student studying Economics at the University of Leeds. In my spare time, I like to play football, as well as go to the gym and go out with my friends. I also enjoy watching football, and I support Manchester United. I have tutored 6 different students over the past 2 years for GCSE maths, with a variety of skill levels, but all of them achieving their target grades or higher. I went to Sir John Lawes School for both secondary school and sixth form. I achieved 5 8s and 5 9s in my GCSEs and A* A* A at A level. I’m now studying Economics BSC at the University of Leeds. I have always been passionate for maths and it has been both my strongest and favourite subject throughout my entire school life. I won the KS3 maths award.
