Hi! My name is Dipasha and I’m currently a final year Pharmacology student at Queen Mary University of London, with a strong interest in academic research and medicine. Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing tennis and badminton. I also love to explore different places in London and listen to music! I really enjoy teaching, and I look forward to supporting students to reach their goals :) I am currently in my final year studying BSc Pharmacology and Innovative Therapeutics at Queen Mary University of London, where I am about to graduate with a first class degree. Prior to this, I completed my A-levels, where I built a strong academic foundation in science and developed effective study and exam techniques. I also performed very well at GCSE level, which reflects my academic ability and strong understanding of core subjects. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience supporting other students with their learning, helping to break down complex topics and build confidence, which has strengthened both my communication skills and ability to adapt to different learning styles.

Hi! I'm Lisa. I enjoy helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the material, rather than simply memorising content for exams. I believe that understanding the fundamentals is the key to long-term success, so I focus on explaining concepts clearly and encouraging students to ask questions. My goal is not only to help students achieve their target grades but also to develop the problem-solving skills and knowledge that will benefit them in further study and university. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the guitar and listening to music, particularly Chinese artists such as Jay Chou. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes. I graduated from St Paul’s Girls’ School for sixth form and achieved 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I am an upcoming second year Mechanical Engineering student studying at Imperial College London. I have add around three years tutoring 1v1 and 1v2 experiences in KS3 sciences and GCSE maths.

Hi! I’m Alice, an enthusiastic and passionate English Literature tutor. I love exploring stories, characters and different interpretations of texts, and I particularly enjoy helping students become more confident in expressing their own ideas. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I believe lessons should be engaging, supportive and give students the confidence to develop their own opinions. My experience as a primary school teacher has taught me the importance of building positive relationships with students and understanding that everyone learns differently. I want my students to feel comfortable, supported and confident in their lessons, whilst I help them to discover what they enjoy about learning and achieve their goals. I'm excited to be part of your learning journey! I have a First Class Honours degree in Drama and English Literature, alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). My degree gave me a strong academic foundation in English Literature, while studying Drama developed my communication, presentation and analytical skills. As an experienced primary school teacher, I have developed strong skills in lesson planning, assessment and adaptive teaching, allowing me to tailor lessons to different learners and their individual needs. My teaching experience has also given me a strong foundation in English, reading and writing, as well as experience supporting students working at a variety of levels. I’m now excited to bring my academic knowledge and classroom experience into tutoring, providing supportive, engaging and personalised lessons that help students develop both their skills and their confidence.

I’m currently offering tuition for students studying GCSE Chemistry or Biology, doing the AQA specification (only AQA, for the time being). I have a Bachelor of Medical Science degree (First). I have 3 years of tutoring experience, working with GCSE students across Maths, Biology and Chemistry. In this time, I've taught over 350 lessons. How I tutor: My lessons are tailored to your learning style and your strengths. We can work on specific topics you want help with, or we can use past papers to identify the areas that need more practice. I'll explain the difficult topics in a simple, clear way, so they’re easier to understand and feel much less daunting. You’ll be actively involved in lessons, using the online whiteboard yourself and answering questions throughout. This helps you apply what you've learned, so you develop a deeper understanding. I often give homework questions to reinforce your knowledge. We’ll complete past papers regularly to track your progress, and see how you’re working towards your target grade. I'll teach you how to approach each type of exam question, so you can go into your exams confident and well-prepared. Before each lesson we'll use GoChat to agree on a plan, so you’ll know what to expect. This allows us to make good use of every minute in the lesson.
