Hi, I’m Hassan! I’m a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Bath with a strong academic background in Maths and Physics. I have two years of previous GCSE Maths tutoring experience, working with students from Year 7 to Year 11 across a range of abilities. I’m patient, approachable and enjoy breaking difficult topics down into clear, manageable steps. I tailor my explanations and lesson pace to each student, while using plenty of practice and exam-style questions to develop both understanding and confidence. My aim is to help students not only improve their grades, but become comfortable tackling problems independently. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath and am entering my second year. My degree has a strong focus on mathematics, physics and engineering problem-solving and I achieved 82% (first class) in my first year. At A-level, I achieved an A* in Mathematics, an A in Physics and an A in Chemistry. I also achieved grade 9s in both Mathematics and Physics at GCSE. Alongside my academic studies, I have two years of experience tutoring GCSE Mathematics to students from Year 7 to Year 11, which has helped me develop clear and adaptable ways of explaining mathematical concepts.

I have just started university and I am eager to help my students in a supportive way with a dynamic based on mutual respect. Outside of my studies I love to watch football, go on hikes in the South Downs and read the financial times, as I am of course interested in any developments in markets. I went to Sackville School, East Grinstead and completed 12 GCSE's and one level 2 certificate in Further Maths, all at grade 7 and above. I then progressed to my A-Levels, achieving A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. During my time I also gained a Gold Certificate in the Senior Maths Challenge and participated in the Senior Maths Kangaroo, whilst also participating in the FCDO Next generation Economics essay competition.

My hobbies include working out, football and research. I believe that physical activity is very important for our mental health and it also helps us in making better decisions. On the other hand, I am constantly trying to research new studies and theories as learning is not restricted to a certain age group rather it is for all of us until we can still breathe. Hi, my name is Guy, I have a BSC in Biochemistry from the University of Southampton and I am currently studying my masters in Synthetic Biology I am here to help guide you with any issues you have in A-level and GCSE Maths, Chemistry and Biology! I achieved three A-levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology from the Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys in Canterbury, Kent. I then went on to attain a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and the University of Southampton. I am now beginning my Master's degree in Synthetic Biology at the University of Southampton.
