As a journalist with a deep passion for teaching, I've dedicated the past seven years to guiding a diverse group of teenagers and adults on their Spanish language journey. In this role, I've honed my ability to effectively impart all four language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. My commitment to excellence has resulted in a strong reputation for facilitating successful Spanish language acquisition among my students. As an experienced editor, I've honed my skills by refining texts for various platforms, including blogs, magazines, and social media. In my role as an Assistant Professor, I've gained extensive academic experience. About me I love to travel, explore new places and meet people from different cultures. I spent ten years living in Athens, Greece where I worked as a private tutor: teaching TEFL to a wide variety of people - from complete beginners to students wishing to take Cambridge Proficiency exams in order to access UK universities. It's a thrill to help them improve their speaking and listening - as well as reading and writing skills. It's wonderful to see them grow in confidence when expressing themselves in English. Furthermore, I am qualified to do proofreading. This fits in well with teaching English. I also have a certificate in Counselling Skills.

My name is Ash and I love tutoring students and showing them ways through which they can not only become a confident learner, but also a confident person overall. I believe that learning should not always be serious and so I tend to make learning interesting for my students at all times. My previous students have said that they never notice the time go whilst learning with me. I enjoy baking, singing, swimming and travelling.
