I’m a mechanical engineering student who enjoys learning, staying active, and improving at things over time. Outside academics, I train Muay Thai and play squash, which keeps me disciplined and focused. I’m naturally curious, patient, and I like explaining ideas in a way that actually makes sense to people. Hi! My name is Mia and I’m currently a student at Univerista Bocconi In Milan, studying Economics and Finance. I was born in London, and grew up there and also spent 7 years in Abu Dhabi. My hobbies include travelling and playing netball and of course relaxing with my friends. I attended Brighton College Abu Dhabi for majority of my high school and finished my last 2 years of education at Latymer Upper School in London where I did A levels. I took maths, physics and economics alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification on whether unpaid (household) labour should be recognized within GDP, earning a merit! I received an excellence award for all A**'s in my GCSE's from edexcel and have had loads of experience tutoring GCSE's and Levels given I didn't do them long ago.

I have increased my knowledge through experiences with top law firms to supporting patients in healthcare areas which has allowed me to strengthen my communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain things clearly. I’ve also helped several students improve their understanding of subjects and grow in confidence with their learning. As a tutor, I take a supportive and adaptable approach as my degree encourages me to understand that every student learns differently so I tailor lessons to suit individual needs. My aim is to make learning both effective and enjoyable, helping students achieve results while building lasting skills they can carry forward.
