I am a dedicated and enthusiastic student who takes pride in balancing strong academic performance with personal interests. I completed my secondary education at Shireland Collegiate Academy, where I developed a strong academic foundation and a disciplined approach to learning. During my time there, I built key skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent study, all of which have supported my academic progress. For my A-levels, I chose to specialise in Chemistry, BTEC Business and Mathematics—two rigorous and highly analytical subjects. Studying Chemistry allowed me to develop a deep understanding of scientific principles, practical laboratory skills, and the ability to analyse complex processes. Mathematics strengthened my logical reasoning, precision, and ability to approach problems methodically. Together, these subjects have equipped me with a strong analytical mindset and the resilience to tackle challenging material, such as Senior UKMT achieving gold certification. I am currently studying at the University of Birmingham, where I continue to build on the knowledge and skills developed during my earlier education. Being part of a leading academic institution has exposed me to a higher level of independent learning, critical analysis, and academic responsibility. My studies require strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to engage with complex concepts in depth. I'm Hannah and I'm a tutor for anyone between the ages of 4 to 16. I specialise in teaching primary school Maths, English and Literacy to children following the UK or Scottish curriculum but have taught a variety of others! I use lots of different methods to help you learn, which are personalised to what you need. I love learning through talking, which is why I love learning foreign languages and travelling! I also like being outside and I think hands-on learning is the best! I currently am studying for my MA in Education. I have received three As in Advanced Highers (equivalent to first year university level) in Maths, Spanish and Scottish Gaelic. I have received seven As in Highers (equivalent to AS levels) in Maths, English, History, Chemistry, Spanish, French and Scottish Gaelic.

I’m currently a medical student and I really like passing my knowledge to young people and helping them achieve the goals that they want. I aspire to create a safe, friendly environment for students, where they can ask me for help whenever.
