Over the years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including primary school students, high school students, and university undergraduates. I am proud to say that my past students have achieved excellent results under my guidance, with many of them scoring top grades in their exams and developing a love for maths. Some of my most rewarding experiences as a tutor have been seeing my students grow in confidence and independence, and knowing that I played a part in their success. Building upon this foundation, I pursued a Master's degree in Data Science, a field that seamlessly blends mathematical principles with cutting-edge technology. My Master's program not only enhanced my mathematical prowess but also sharpened my ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios. I’m currently a medical student and I really like passing my knowledge to young people and helping them achieve the goals that they want. I aspire to create a safe, friendly environment for students, where they can ask me for help whenever. With a deep passion for education, I strive to instil not only knowledge but also critical thinking skills and confidence in my students. I attended Southend High School for Girls and completed my GCSEs there. For A levels,I moved to Southend High School for Boys. Currently i am a medical student at the University of Nottingham. I have about a year of tutoring experience from beforehand, and i have worked at ExploreLearning for a few months.

Hi :) My name is Samee Chowdhury. I'm from London and currently a 5th year Medical student, and if there's one thing that medicine has taught me, it's how to break down complexity into something anyone can understand — and that's exactly what I bring to every tutoring session. I've been tutoring for several years across Primary, 13+, and GCSE level Maths, Science, and English, working with students from all ends of the spectrum; from high achievers pushing for top grades, to students with ADHD, autism, and other SEN needs. Every student is different, and I genuinely enjoy figuring out what clicks and what doesn't. My approach is straightforward: I'll be honest with you about where you are, realistic about what we can achieve together, and fully committed to squeezing the best out of your potential. No cookie-cutter lesson plans here. Every session is built around you, adapted in real time to what's working and what isn't. Outside of medicine and tutoring, football and sport are a huge part of who I am. That competitive drive, the will to improve, to push harder, to not settle is something I try to bring into my teaching. A little healthy competition and high expectations go a long way. I became a tutor for the same reason I'm becoming a Doctor; I genuinely want to help people get further than they thought they could. If you're willing to put the work in, I'll make sure it counts. I am currently studying medicine at university and wish to become a paediatric surgeon in the future. I obtained my GCSEs at Lister Community School achieving 9 A*-A and 2 B's. I attended Brampton Manor Academy for my A levels where I did Biology, Chemistry, Physics and AS level Mathematics. I am also familiar with the grammar school entry exams (11+) as I sat them myself as a child and have tutored kids for them in the past

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a strong passion for teaching and supporting children in their academic development. I enjoy working with students of all ages, from primary school through to A-level, and I take great pride in helping learners build confidence and achieve their academic potential. Alongside my academic background, I have a wide range of interests, including playing sports and cooking different recipes, which I enjoy in my free time. I am also multilingual and can speak both Bengali and Urdu fluently, allowing me to communicate effectively with students and families from diverse backgrounds. I have valuable teaching experience, having previously run my own private tuition sessions for primary school children, primarily focusing on English. I am currently expanding this to include secondary school students as well. I tutor primary school students in both Maths and English, GCSE students in English Language and English Literature, and A-level students in Finance. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel motivated to improve and succeed. In addition to tutoring, I have worked in a primary school where I provided one-to-one support for SEN (Special Educational Needs) students, assisting them with their learning and development. This experience has given me valuable insight into different learning styles and classroom approaches, helping me tailor my tutoring to meet the individual needs of each student. Currently, in my full-time job, I work as an Alternative Provision Tutor, where I tutor students with SEMH and behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis. I teach them English, Maths, and Science (the ages range from primary up to secondary school). Alongside helping them academically, I also mentor them, encouraging them to keep a positive attitude, in the hopes of getting them back into education fully (within a school environment). Teaching is something I have always been passionate about from a young age. I strongly believe in the importance of education in shaping a child’s future, and I am committed to supporting students in reaching their full potential. I hope to continue inspiring and guiding students through their academic journeys while also progressing within my own professional career in finance. Academically, I achieved a Grade 8 in English Literature and a Grade 6 in English Language at GCSE level. I also studied Finance at A-level, achieving an A*, which reflects my strong interest and ability in the subject. I recently completed my undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of East London in 2024, graduating with First Class Honours. Throughout my degree, I developed a strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and analytical skills essential for a successful career in finance. Following my degree, I also completed a postgraduate course related to Accounting and Finance, achieving a Pass with Distinction. This has further strengthened my knowledge and reinforced my ambition to pursue a career as a Chartered Accountant in the future.
