I’m a motivated and adaptable BCom student with experience in online tutoring, virtual assistance, and content creation. I enjoy learning new skills, solving problems, and helping others. I’m passionate about business, technology, and personal growth. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Financial Management and have previously studied towards a BCom in Accounting. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in business management, finance, economics, accounting, and analytical thinking. Through my studies, I have developed skills in financial analysis, problem-solving, research, data interpretation, and professional communication. In addition to my formal education, I continuously expand my knowledge through self-learning in areas such as technology, coding, social media, and business strategy. I have experience working independently in an online learning environment, which has strengthened my time management, self-discipline, and organizational skills. My educational background has prepared me to adapt quickly, learn efficiently, and contribute positively in both academic and professional settings.

I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.

I’m Mane, a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with over five years of tutoring experience, I specialize in helping students build strong foundations in English and Maths, from Year 1 through Year 11. I have a particular passion for preparing students for the 11+ exams and supporting them through their GCSE English and Maths (both Foundation and Higher levels). In addition to my academic tutoring, I have experience as a mental arithmetic teacher, helping students develop rapid calculation skills and strengthen their numerical confidence. As a multilingual tutor, I speak English, Russian, and Armenian, which allows me to connect with a diverse range of learners and tailor my teaching to their needs. I have successfully completed my Bachelor's degree in Labor Economics at the Armenian State University of Economics and subsequently acquired my Master's degree in International Management from Buckingham University. Additionally, I have achieved certification as a Mental Arithmetic Teacher.

Religion, Theology, Philosophy, Ethics and Film is my absolute passion and specialty! I have both an Undergraduate and a Masters Degree in the subject. I also have a PGCE and QTS with experience teaching primary school children and working one-to-one with SEN children. I hold my Level 2 in SEND. I attended York St John for both my Undergraduate and my Masters Degree in Religious Studies. In between, I gained a PGCE from Leeds Trinity and a QTS through my SCITT. I currently work in a Sixth Form College and support the A Level Philosophy, Religion and Ethics revision sessions and classes.
