Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! I appreciate people who try, no matter what their ability is, and i love seeing people achieve things that they never dreamed they could. Let me help you do that. Hi there! My name is Eve and I am currently a university student who loves learning, meeting new people and helping others. I’d describe myself as a fun and friendly person who’s always ready to laugh and I am here to make studying feel more enjoyable. I know that learning can feel intimidating or challenging, but I believe it’s all about finding the approach that works best for you. I’ve always been passionate about sport and the outdoors. Whether it’s playing football, skiing or going for a walk in nature, being active helps me stay positive, focused and motivated. I try to bring that same energy into tutoring — encouraging students to stay determined, celebrate progress, and see that every small step counts. When I’m not tutoring or being active, I love to listen to music, watching a good series and spending time with friends. I’m a big believer in work-life balance — working hard but also prioritising enjoying life and rest. As a tutor, I aim to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my sessions to suit each student’s needs. Most importantly, I want my students to enjoy the process and feel proud of their progress. I have always been passionate about learning and challenging myself academically. I have a strong academic background, having achieved 11 GCSEs and three A-levels in Biology, Geography, and Physical Education. These subjects allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how the human body functions, how we interact with the environment and the importance of health and well being — areas that continue to inspire me in day-to-day life. My A-levels built a strong foundation in scientific thinking, analysis and problem-solving, all of which I continue to apply in my current studies. I am now studying Sport Rehabilitation at university, a course that combines my love for sport, science and helping others. It has given me valuable insights into human anatomy, injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques, as well as how physical activity supports both physical and mental health. Through my degree, I’ve learned not only the theory behind human biology and movement but also how to apply this knowledge in practical, real-world situations.
