Hi, my name's Roshini! I am a final year medical student and I have experience tutoring GCSE Maths and Science. I am passionate about helping students succeed and helping them enjoy the learning process. I work well with students of varying levels of ability and am committed to enhancing a student's capability to the fullest extent. Currently, I am in my fifth year of studying medicine after having done my schooling at The Henrietta Barnett School. I achieved 8A*and 2As in my GCSEs and have a good foundation and understanding of GCSE topics. I use a combination of resources, including my own study materials and exam style questions to ensure students have consolidated their knowledge of topics. I strive to create a nurturing and encouraging environment with my sessions to make students feel motivated to learn. Hey I am Si Yeun! I'm a PhD student researching heterogeneous catalysts, and I have 1 year of experience tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics for GCSE and below students. Having had some tutoring myself during my GCSE period, I know how much of a nerve-wracking experience it is for both students and parents. Getting into this course at a Russel Group University required stellar GCSE and A Level grades which I was able to achieve through thorough and dedicated studies and personal teaching. I believe that active learning through frequent recall, question and answer sessions and flashcards is the best way to retain information. Combining this with practice paper questions from the start of teaching guarantees success.
