Hi! I'm Ridwan! I'm an aerospace engineering graduate and my mission is to help make GCSE and A-Level Maths easier so you get the grades you need for your chosen sixth form or university (or any other path you may choose)! My teaching subjects are Mathematics and Physics at both GCSE and A-Level. I also teach Further Mathematics at GCSE and Statistics at GCSE and A-Level. All lessons are tailored for the major exam boards including Edexcel, AQA, OCR, CAIE, and WJEC/Eduqas. Tutoring for Edexcel IGCSE is also available. I’m an enthusiastic individual, that is keen on teaching children, of all ages, up until A-level. I have many different hobbies, such as playing sports and cooking different recipes, which is something I carry out in my free time. I’m also multilingual, as I can speak both Bengali and Urdu fluently. I also have experience of teaching, as I ran my own personal tuition for primary school children, now moving unto secondary school, for English, which is something that I am carrying out now. I’m looking forward to teaching Primary school children, for both Maths and English, as well as English Language and English Literature for GCSE students, and in teaching Finance to A-level students. I have successfully achieved a grade 8 for English Literature, as well as a grade 6 for English language. In addition, I studied Finance as one of my A-level subjects and achieved an A*. I just completed my university degree in Accounting and Finance this year. I enjoy teaching a lot, and it’s something that I’ve always been passionate about, from a young age. I currently also work in a primary school alongside my studies which I recently completed, by doing 1-1 with SEN children, assisting them with their learning. This supports my ability to tutor as it gives me an insight into the different concepts children are learning in school, allowing me to provide my students with the help they need, as I'm aware of how important a child's education is, in shaping their future and I hope and wish to be a part of that. I am a recent graduate with a degree in Accounting and Finance, completed in 2024, and currently awaiting my final results. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a robust understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and the analytical skills necessary for a successful career in the finance industry. It's something that I am deeply passionate about and wish to carry on further into the future.

My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. This fuels my enthusiasm when I teach, and I love sharing examples from my own work. Recently, I worked with TotalEnergies in France, exploring the valorization of desalination concentrate. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model. I'm passionate about science and STEM, and I strive to show my students how thrilling these subjects can be! My name is Karen, and I'm a dedicated tutor for maths and science. I've been tutoring for four years and hold a Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry and Petrochemical Engineering. I achieved A*/A grades at GCSE in mathematics and physics, and an A in A-Level maths. I've always enjoyed school and hope to share that passion with my students! I teach A Level maths and physics, and I also specialize in chemistry, French, maths, and physics at Lower Level and GCSE levels. I have a C1 level in French, a favorite hobby of mine since I started lessons at six. Over the years, I've become very familiar with the content and perfected my teaching methods to ensure the best results, no matter the time frame. Teaching is a true passion for me. It's incredibly fulfilling to help students achieve their goals, whether they love the subject or just need to pass.

I’m someone deeply passionate about the intersection of technology, innovation, and social impact. Having lived and studied in both India and the United Kingdom, I’ve developed a broad, multicultural perspective that fuels my drive to solve global challenges through AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity. My academic journey has been complemented by a wide range of super-curricular activities — from reading tech-focused books and watching documentaries to taking specialized courses and participating in enrichment programs at institutions like Oxford and UEA. These experiences have sharpened both my curiosity and my commitment to building technology that makes a real difference. Alongside my academic pursuits, I’ve gained hands-on experience through roles like teaching computer science at Hewett Academy and working as a research assistant on a file encryption project published with IEEE. These opportunities not only strengthened my technical skills in Python, Java, and C, but also taught me valuable lessons in teamwork, communication, and academic rigor. Outside of tech, I’m an active person — I enjoy tennis, football, and swimming, which keep me grounded and balanced. Programs like the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award and Trinity Speech and Drama have helped me build confidence, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Looking ahead, I’m excited to pursue a career that blends entrepreneurship with cutting-edge technology, aiming to address issues like climate change, food security, and digital safety. I’m not just eager to participate in this dynamic field — I want to help shape it. My educational journey began with my GCSEs at Jane Austen College in Norwich, where I developed a strong foundation in a range of subjects. I then pursued my A Levels at Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form, focusing on Maths, Chemistry and Physics, where I also had the opportunity to teach programming to younger students. Currently, I’ve just completed my first year studying Computer Science at the University of Bristol, where I’m building advanced skills in programming, algorithms, and systems. My studies have been enriched by academic programs such as the Frontier Program at Balliol College, Oxford and the Ideas Lab and Project Change at the University of East Anglia, which exposed me to research-driven and interdisciplinary learning environments. These experiences have helped me grow not only as a student but also as an aspiring technologist with global ambitions.
