A Yr13 leaver who studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-level. Maths enthusiast engaging within the SMC, achieving Gold, and participated within the Andrew Jobbing's Senior Kangaroo (2024). My enthusiasm for tutoring started from mentoring a student for GCSE (during Yr12). Through my aid and the student’s zeal, the student bumped their grade from Grade 5 (Yr11 Mocks) to achieving Grade 8 (GCSE results day). During sixth form, I belonged to the student mentoring organisation, where I aided a Yr9 student across various subjects, ranging from Biology to RS. I'm a postgraduate and researcher who is passionate about Sociology and wants other students to become passionate as well!I think it's such a broad subject so everyone can find something that interests them! Outside of working and tutoring I have a huge love for creative hobbies such as books, reading, film, tv and theatre I have a BA in Sociology (1st class), during my education I specialised in Race & Ethnicity, Gender & sexuality, Culture & Identity, Research Methods and many other areas. I also have an MSc in Public Sociology, in which I specialised in the same areas as above but also social media, social activism and social policy. Also I am a qualified Equality and Diversity professional, I have a Level 2 and 3 qualification in Equality and Diversity and I also have a Level 2 in LGBT Inclusion in the workplace. This is something I continue to be passionate about and I am currently working towards my next level. Equality and Diversity is also my full time job outside of tutoring.

Hi! I'm Pia. The subject I teach is Mathematics at GCSE level and also GCSE Biology. I understand that maths and biology can present difficult challenges and having received tutoring for both subjects, it has really helped me to understand and enjoy the subjects a lot. I hope to be able to help other students develop their confidence and learn to enjoy maths and biology too! I completed 9 GCSEs, including an A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry and also completed my A-levels with an A in Maths and Biology and B in Chemistry. I am currently studying Biomedical Science at the University of Birmingham. Even though I am not studying a mathematical course at university, maths has always been my favourite subject through school

I am a Qualified Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students of all levels. Experience with: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, GCSE Maths Exam Prep, Special Need,11+ ,13+ Exam Board Experience: I can work with any exam board. Edexcel, AQA, OCR (most material is common to all exam boards). I am currently working as a Mathematics teacher at a school in the U.K. In my previous roles, I taught mathematics and coding. I have also tutored students at various levels, from elementary school to college. I am very well aware of the Mathematics curriculum and always look for new and engaging ways to teach it. I am passionate about helping students learn and committed to providing them with the best possible education.
