I’m patient, approachable, and enjoy helping others to achieve to their fullest potential. In my free time I love anything animal, nature, or geography related and I love spending time with my dog Reginald! At school I achieved 9 GCSEs grades 9-6, I then completed my A-Levels in English Literature, Psychology, and Geography where I achieved AAB. I went on to study Psychology at the University of Westminster. I have been tutoring for 9 years while I was at school and during university. I would describe myself as patient, approachable, and motivated and understand that every student faces challenges in their own way, so I always try to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and pushing themselves further. Tutoring has taught me not only how to guide others academically but also how to encourage resilience and independent thinking. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy cooking and sports, which often inspires the way I teach and connect with learners. My goal as a tutor is to help students see that with the right approach and mindset, they are capable of achieving far more than they might believe and make it a more enjoyable experience. I've had past experience as a tutor supporting GCSE students in Maths and Chemistry. During my time at St Olave's Grammar School, I discovered a passion for helping others learn by tutoring younger students, both one-on-one and in small groups. I focused on breaking down challenging topics into clear, manageable steps and tailoring my explanations to match each student’s learning style. This approach helped my students improve their grades, develop stronger study habits, and build the confidence needed to succeed in their exams.
