Hi, I’m Sivapriya, 25 years old, and I have been working on this platform since February 2022. I teach primary level: Mathematics, English (including phonics); secondary level: Mathematics, English, and Science; GCSE level: Computer Science, Biology, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry (all boards); A-Level: Computer Science and Maths (all boards). I assist students preparing for SAT and 11+ exams, as well as IELTS, UKVI IELTS, TOEIC, and TOEFL. Experienced in supporting SEN students effectively. I have completed over 3000 sessions, guiding students to consistent improvement and increased confidence. Having recently completed a postgraduate diploma course in teacher training in the Montessori method at INTESOL Worldwide, UK, and obtaining a certificate in teaching UK-based synthetic phonics, I specialize in creating engaging and exciting environments for teaching phonics and math. Through real-world applications, children can enjoy learning in a fun and interactive manner. Teaching Methodology: I favour the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) method. Firstly, I engage and captivate the class. Next, they study the target language, followed by controlled practice activities. Finally, they engage in free practice activities related to the target language.

I'm currently studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at the University of Leeds, building on my A-levels in Maths, Economics, and History. I’ve always had a passion for understanding how the world works—whether through economic systems, political structures, or philosophical thought. Outside of my academic life, I really enjoy teaching and helping others learn. I often spend time tutoring my 13-year-old brother and younger cousins, which has not only strengthened my communication skills but also deepened my own understanding of the subjects I love. I am currently a BSc Business Computing graduate from Brunel University. I have been studying math throughout my education which means I am able to teach first-hand how fun and interesting math can be for the younger generation. My main hobbies are football and cycling. I chose to teach math as it gives me the opportunity to work in a position that has a positive impact on young people, who will be the future change makers in our society.
