I’ve lived in six different countries, worked in both education and the business world, and I bring that international energy straight into my classes. I’m a native French speaker with a big love for Spanish language and Hispanic culture, so you’ll learn real, useful language — the kind people actually speak — along with the cultural tips that make you sound natural. I’m known for being extremely patient, but don’t worry, I’ll also encourage you (nicely!) to step outside your comfort zone and grow fast. I hold a PGCE with QTS in MFL, which underpins my professional practice in secondary and adult education. I also completed a Master’s degree in Strategic Marketing in Leeds, complementing my teaching profile with a solid understanding of communication, strategy, and the business environment. My undergraduate studies include a Bachelor’s degree in European Business Management in Reims, providing me with a multidisciplinary and multilingual foundation. I obtained my Baccalaureate in Economics in Munich, further strengthening my academic and cultural international exposure.

Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. I am a first-year university student studying Computer Science, with a strong academic foundation in both mathematics and computing. I specialise in teaching Mathematics and Computer Science, and I have hands-on experience supporting and teaching students within a primary school setting, helping them build confidence and understanding. I successfully completed the 11 Plus examination in Year 6, which reflected my strong academic ability from an early age, particularly in English and Mathematics. I then went on to attend Bartley Green Secondary School, where I studied a wide range of subjects including English, Mathematics, Triple Science, Religious Education, Geography, French, and Computer Science. Studying such a broad curriculum helped me become well-rounded and develop important skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and clear communication. After secondary school, I attended King Edward VI College, Stourbridge, where I studied A-Levels in Mathematics, Law, and Computer Science. These subjects allowed me to strengthen my logical thinking and analytical skills. Mathematics deepened my confidence in tackling complex problems, Law improved my ability to form structured arguments, and Computer Science further developed my technical knowledge and passion for computing. Overall, my educational journey has been consistent, focused, and driven by a genuine interest in analytical and technical subjects.

I hold a strong academic and professional background in Spanish language, culture, and education. I graduated in Hispanic Studies and later completed an MA at the University of Glasgow, where I developed advanced knowledge of Spanish and Latin American literature, history, politics, and cultural studies. My academic training gave me a deep appreciation of the richness and diversity of the Spanish-speaking world, from Golden Age literature to contemporary Latin American society. I am also a published poet. I have experience of teaching English Language and Literature. Alongside my academic qualifications, I also completed a PGCE and obtained Qualified Teacher Status through the St Mary's University. This provided me with strong pedagogical foundations in lesson planning, assessment, classroom management, and differentiated learning. I have experience teaching students of different ages and abilities and aim to create engaging lessons that build both confidence and linguistic competence. I have lived and travelled extensively in Spain and Latin America, experiences that significantly enriched my understanding of regional accents, idiomatic language, social customs, and cultural traditions. These experiences allow me to bring authenticity and real-world context into the classroom. My particular interests include Hispanic literature, contemporary Spanish and Latin American politics, cultural identity, film, and music. I am especially interested in helping students understand not only the mechanics of the language but also the cultural perspectives that shape communication across the Spanish-speaking world. I believe language learning should be intellectually stimulating, culturally immersive, and accessible to all learners. I attended Westminster School (10 O levels, 3 A levels), attained a 2:1 MA in Hispanic Studies at the university of Glasgow, completed my phd finance modules at university of Essex in 0212, received my QTS and PGCE from St Mary's university in 2024. I taught Spanish at Three Rivers Academy and GNSA in Hayes. My specialisations are Hispanic Culture, Literature and Art. I am an expert on world poetry and drama.
