I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying Economics in my first year at university. I teach Economics, Spanish and A-level and GCSE Maths, bringing both academic excellence and a dynamic approach to every lesson. With two years of experience as an 11+ Maths and English tutor at Test Teach, I have developed a strong ability to engage I went to Sutton Grammar School where I got 11 9s in my GCSEs including maths, English language, English literature and Spanish. I’m an ESL teacher with eight years of experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in using English. Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, so I’ve learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on what my students need. Outside the classroom, I volunteer in my community, especially working with youth. This is something very important to me because I believe education can really change lives. It also helped me become more patient, understanding, and connected to the real challenges students face. I’m very interested in learning more about education and social issues. I like reading books and doing my own research because I want to improve not just as a teacher, but also as a person. I try to bring these insights into my lessons so they feel more meaningful and relatable. I also love traveling because it helps me experience different cultures and perspectives, which I think is important when teaching language. As a person, I’m goal-oriented and organized, but I also try to stay flexible depending on the situation. I always reflect on my teaching and look for ways to improve. My main goal is to support my students, help them grow, and make learning English something they feel confident and comfortable with. As a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, I am passionate about helping students discover the power of language and develop their confidence in expressing themselves. Teaching, for me, is not just about lessons—it’s about inspiring curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, and connecting learning to students’ everyday lives. I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Plymouth. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping others as it brings happiness and joy to me. This is also the main reason why I wanted to become a tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, particularly football and cricket. I have 2 younger brothers, so I am always entertained. I love talking and spending time with them. For secondary school, I attended the Oxford Spires Academy where I completed my GCSEs. For 6th form, I was accepted by The Cherwell School, where I completed my A-levels. At GCSE level science I achieved a grade 8/8 and at A-levels I achieved grades A in both Biology and Chemistry. In my first year of UCAS application, I did not receive any offers to study Medicine at University. However, towards the end of summer I came across an opportunity to study medicine through an alternative route. The University of Plymouth were offering a one-year transfer from Biomed to Medicine providing one achieved 3 As at A-levels, maintained a 70% pass rate across all modules in 1st year and passed the interview for Medicine. In the previous year only 2/23 applicants were successful in this route. Although this was intense, I was able to successfully transfer from Biomed to Medicine after the 1st year. This year I just completed my 1st year as a Medical student at the University of Plymouth
