I am a fully qualified Maths teacher, and have spent the last five years working in schools teaching Maths to students aged 11-18. I have spent the last two years as Assistant Curriculum Leader for Maths at a secondary school / sixth form in East London. Before teaching, I studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford, from which I graduated in 2019. I have experience tutoring Maths at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, and tutoring Economics at GCSE and A-Level. Furthermore, I am experienced in working with both high and low attaining students, with SEND students, and with those students that require special adjustments. I have experience tutoring across all exam boards, but with particular experience with Edexcel. I have extensive experience with preparing students for their GCSE and A-Level examinations, both in schools and through private tuition, and have helped numerous students to reach their full potential and achieve their aims, whether that be a Grade 4 or a Grade 9. My approach to teaching is knowledge-based, emphasising teacher-led instruction and modelled examples followed by independent student practice, with additional support when required. My approach towards my students is firm but caring: I aim to cultivate a calm, consistent and productive atmosphere, where students feel happy, safe, and cos and ask for any support that they might need. Hi everyone ! I'm Ridhi and I am a first year geography student at the University of Warwick. I completed A levels in Biology, Economics and Maths and achieved grades of all As. I have a passion for tutoring and helping students reach their full potential. Having the experience as a student tutor, I am able to devise powerpoints and engaging resources tailored to everyone. Outside academics, I play badminton and swim regularly and am part of many societies at Warwick. I'm excited to meet you all! I have worked at KipMcgrath education centre as a student tutor and helper during my A levels. Alongside this, I have been an economics prefect at my sixth form as well as led econsociety, where we delivered visually engaging presentations every week. I created a diverse and inclusive society allowing those who wanted to engage in economics outside study would be able to. I also ran weekly economics study sessions for year 12's to practice their exam technique and cover any areas of the course they may find difficult. Therefore, I have the appropriate skills in creating powerpoints, running study sessions and communicating to my peers to be able to be a tutor. My passion for not only economics but biology and science as well is shown through my dedication in societies and making resources easily accessible as well as engaging for others.

Alongside my English Literature degree, I am a competitive middle-distance athlete and worked within the executive team, as VP of Sport, on my college committee at the University of York. I also enjoyed my role as a course ambassador, speaking to prospective students and parents at open days about studying English at Undergraduate level and university life in general. While at University, I began teaching English Literature and Language via zoom, primarily to GCSE students, with the hope of tutoring at A-Level too. My sessions are always based on the personal areas that each individual student wishes to focus on, to consolidate or enhance their understanding of the given topic. I am patient and understanding, so promise to support each student at their own pace and be not only a tutor, but also a reassuring support-system to whom they can direct any questions or queries. I hope to guide and support other students in their personal academic goals, through a focus on exam technique, revision methods and coping with the potential stress that may arise during exam season, to help get the best out of each individual. I recently graduated from the University of York with a First class honours degree in English and Related Literature. My modules covered an expansive geographical and temporal range from Latin Literature and the Middle Ages, to the Renaissance and 20th Century American Literature. In my A-Levels, I achieved 3x A*s in English Literature, History and Latin. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in the following subjects: English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Latin, History, Religious Studies and Computer Science, with an 8 in Chemistry.

Hi, I'm a 2nd year UCL medical student! For years now, I’ve mentored & tutored both GCSE and A-level biology for multiple specifications, as well as Chemistry, Maths, Geography, and English Language. I attended a girls grammar school, and also tutor the 11 plus exams! As someone who took and passed both CEM and GL 11 plus exams, I am happy to help with any. Also have engaged with science outside of school, completing a Women in STEM course run by the University of Oxford, and completing wider reading.
