Hi, I'm Mona! A little about me; I tutor Primary and GCSE-level students in English. Right now, I'm more focused on GCSE students. I have in-depth knowledge in English literature from Shakespearean plays like Macbeth to War and Conflict Poems, and more. I'm fluent in English, write a lot, and I absolutely love creative writing so that comes in handy when guiding students through revision for the English Language Paper. I'm also familiar with exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, and Eduqas. What I love most about my tutoring sessions is that from the onset, my students and I try to make learning not feel like a chore. We strive to not only achieve the educational goals we set out but we make it so that the main objective is to learn and understand, not just pass a test. I'm open-minded and firmly believe there is no such thing as a person who can't be taught. Each student is different from the next and all anyone really needs is the right kind of guidance. I am currently in University for my Bachelor's but I graduated from the equivalent of UK A-Levels with honours. My curriculum was English, Arts, and Humanities-centered so I had subjects such as Media and Information Literacy, Research Writing, Creative Fiction and Non-Fiction, Contemporary Art, etc. I used to write for a travel blog and was the assistant to the managerial editor of a newspaper company so I proofread, edited, and wrote articles a lot.

Hi! I’m Regie Faith, a licensed Civil Engineer and TEFL-certified Math teacher. I enjoy teaching Math in simple and practical ways that make learning less intimidating, and I’ve worked with students of all ages both in class and online. Outside of teaching, I enjoy crocheting, reading, and playing board games, hobbies that keep me creative and patient in my lessons. I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Leyte State University and later earned a TEFL certification. I have over four years of classroom experience teaching Math to college students and one year of online tutoring for school-aged learners. Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for 8 months. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where my ambition is to become an ACA Chartered Accountant.
