Hi! I'm Tom, a recent graduate from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Physics! I am a huge fan of learning new skills and having fun whilst doing so... which is probably why I spent the last 5 months as a Ski Instructor in Canada! It's not only skiing I enjoy, though, as I also took up Gaelic Football at Uni and have played hockey, football and rugby for most of my life. I have graduated from the University of Birmingham with a First Class in BSc Physics. Academically, I specialised in civil and medical nuclear engineering, which continue to be a passion of mine since leaving Uni. I am continuing my passion for learning, though, as I have completed several online courses in Data Science and Computational Fluid Dynamics!

Hello! I’m Alice Bennett, a licensed English teacher with 14 years of experience helping students grow into confident communicators. I am Miriam Hajj, a 23-year-old dedicated medical student with a strong passion for education. I aspire to become an expert medical doctor and ultimately a university professor, where I can guide and inspire students to achieve their academic goals in the most effective and supportive manner. I firmly believe that education is not merely a requirement, but a pathway for personal and intellectual growth. I have been tutoring for approximately seven years, since I was in college, supporting students across various levels, including GCSE and A-Level. I have also worked in different educational centres, particularly with students who had failed their national exams. I organized intensive one-month courses focusing on biology, chemistry, math and physics, and I am proud to say that almost all of my students successfully passed their exams. I have also tutored students preparing for the DELF exam for those aspiring to study in France. During medical school, I further honed my tutoring skills by organizing intensive three-month sessions for students preparing for medical and engineering school entrance exams. The path to medical school proved highly competitive. I successfully navigated the demanding pre-medical program, which included a rigorous first year with a challenging curriculum. I then successfully competed in the highly selective medical school entrance examination, facing fierce competition from over 1000 applicants for only 100 places. The examination comprised rigorous written tests in all subjects, including a crucial English and French language proficiency test. I am proud to have secured 50th place. I am currently in my fifth year of medical school, eagerly anticipating the commencement of my hospital internship in the coming months.

I am very enthusiastic about Maths and the Sciences. Having just finished my A Levels studying Biology, Physics, and Mathematics at A Level; I understand the challenges students face when learning these subjects and enjoy helping others build confidence and improve their understanding. I aim to make learning engaging and accessible for every student. I recently completed my A Levels at Queen Anne's School, Reading, where I studied Biology, Physics, and Mathematics. I've had a strong interest in science, sport and problem-solving since I started secondary school, which has inspired me to pursue a degree in Sports and Exercise Science at university. Prior to that, I completed my GCSEs at King's Academy Prospect, Reading, achieving good results across all subjects, including Maths and the Sciences.
