Levels & Subjects: Primary: Mathematics GCSE: Mathematics (AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR) Experience : Taught GCSE and Primary Maths for 3 years Hello, my name is Pelumi and I recently graduated from a Masters in Investment Banking at Queen Mary University of London. The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. I’m a 25-year-old dentist with a passion for both my studies and my hobbies. In my free time, I love taking dance classes, which allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. I started my academic journey at Beaconsfield High School, where I completed my GCSE. I thoroughly enjoyed GCSE Maths the most. I then took on A-levels in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology, which fueled my passion for pursuing a career in dentistry. After finishing my A-levels, I decided to study abroad at Plovdiv Medical University in Bulgaria. It’s been an amazing experience!
