Hi! I am currently a 3rd year Chemical Engineering student at Imperial College London with a strong background in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics and I enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts by simplifying them in a clear and engaging way. My goal is to build confidence and make learning enjoyable. I am currently in my penultimate year of a Master’s in Chemical Engineering (MEng) at Imperial College London, on track for a First Class. I’ve excelled in key modules such as Engineering Mathematics and Reaction Engineering, and I’m a recipient of both the President’s Undergraduate Scholarship and the Faculty of Engineering UROP Bursary. Before university, I studied at Wilson’s School, where I achieved 4 A*s at A-Level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and 8 grade 9s at GCSE. Hi! My name is Mariyah, a friendly and dedicated Maths tutor currently on my gap year after completing my A-levels. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and reach their full potential in both GCSE Maths and 11+ preparation. Having recently been through the exam process myself, I understand how to explain topics clearly, boost exam technique, and make lessons engaging and approachable. My sessions are tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on building understanding and confidence step by step. I have recently completed my A-levels at St Clement Danes, studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry, getting BCC.
