Hi! I’m Aris, a Computer Science and Mathematics student at the University of Manchester with a deep passion for Maths and helping others succeed. I achieved top A-level results, including the highest mark in Europe in Pure Maths in 2022, and I’ve continued to perform at a high level in my degree. I know how stressful exams can be, and my goal is to help students build confidence, master core concepts, and learn how to tackle problems step-by-step. I completed my secondary education at Apostolos Markos Lyceum in Cyprus, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematics and science. During my final year, I achieved first place in the 2022 Pancyprian Mathematics Competition, a national-level award recognising top mathematical ability. I then completed A-levels in Pure Mathematics, earning the highest mark in Europe in A-level Pure Mathematics. I am currently studying Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Manchester, one of the UK’s top universities. I have just completed my first year with a first-class overall mark of 82.583%, excelling in both theoretical and applied mathematics modules. My university coursework has further deepened my understanding of algebra, calculus, statistics, and logical problem solving. This background has given me the tools and confidence to support students at GCSE and A-level, particularly in Maths, and I am passionate about sharing that knowledge in a clear, structured way.

I am Sarood, a friendly and dedicated maths tutor who supports her students in every shape and form while fostering a positive, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn and grow. So I want to bring this change and shape every young individuals lives. I completed my GCSE's at Ormiston Forge Academy where I achieved grades 9-5 in 10 GCSE subjects, including Mathematics 6 and English 7. Additionally, I did my A Levels at Forge too, I got AAAB in Mathematics, Physics, Sociology and EPQ. As a result, I have completed my BSc Honours Mathematics degree with a FIRST CLASS scoring an average of 75.17%.

I am a TEFL certified teacher with 5 years of teaching experience and have graduated from University and was awarded with an English award as attained the highest English grades across my borough. What separates me from other tutors is that I genuinely have a passion for helping students reach their full academic potential, it's the most rewarding part! My love for the English language is contageous and my students learn to also love the subject! With a strong foundation in teaching English and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, I strive to make every lesson both meaningful and enjoyable. I firmly believe that each student learns differently, and I take a personalized approach to tutoring, tailoring my methods to meet individual needs and learning styles. I widely understand the English curriculum and familiar with exam boards such as OCR , AQA and EDEXCEL. I have helped numerous students to excel in their GCSE's and iGCSE, getting the grades that truly reflect their hard work. Subsequently, I am very familiar in tutoring students of all ages, from priamary all the way to secondary level. I love to help each student reach their learning goals and prove that learning can be fun! I love to travel and experience new cultures! I absolutely love music and I am an artist at heart. I have studied and attained a Bachelors University degree as well as a qualifying as a TEFEL tutor - teaching English as a foreign language to ADULT LEARNERS and CHILDREN. I have work experience working in a primary school and also on a one to one basis as a learning support help in secondary school. I have a very bubbly personality to help my students feel comfortable where they might be shy or nervous taking lessons. At the same time, I have set targets for each of my students and monitor their progress diligently through setting homework and module exams. This works for my students who need that extra push!
