Very patient caring tutor with over 20 years of experience. I mainly tutor GCSE English and German, but I also teach the primary school curriculum including sats. All lessons are bespoke to the individual's request and level. I offer the student motivation and clarity with their exam work and with improving any areas that need addressing. I am totally bilingual in German through my parentage and also lived in Germany for a number of years and worked there as an English language teacher. I attended the open university and achieved my degree in humanities after which I obtained my PGCE in primary education. I taught at various schools before I became a private tutor but found that being a tutor was far more rewarding. I enjoy my job immensely and I also teach online as well as one to one tutoring. I am always updating my knowledge of the current school curriculum and attend educational courses just to see what is going on and how things evolve in Education .

I achieved A* in Economics and A's in Biology and Chemistry in my recent A-levels. But within 8 months, I transformed my grades in economics achieving one of the highest marks in the country. Luck plays a role, but it's essentially a mathematical probability principle. With strategic effort, you can tilt the odds in your favour, no matter what challenges come your way. This way, I can tailor my approach . My tutoring philosophy is based on a series of books / research paper i have read on educational neurosciences of how to learn most effectively which i personally implemented thus i know work for the average student .
