I'm Leanne, a second year physics student at Imperial College London. I love physics and maths and want to share my passion with students to inspire and empower them. I have experience working with students of all ages and believe that every student has the ability to achieve anything they want to given the correct support. Outside of my degree I also do a lot of music, playing the trumpet in orchestras and wind bands. In my free time I also love reading and theatre. I am currently an undergraduate student at Imperial College London. I am in the second year of my 4 year MSc in Physics specialising in theoretical physics. About Me Language is not just a tool for communication, it's rather a reflection of how we see ourselves, our world and culture. I am a PhD candidate who recently published a paper on sexism and gender bias to help promote social justice by teaching politically correct language. In light of my educational research I learned that each student has a unique mind and uses different techniques to learn. Hence, my responsibility entails guiding each individual to unlock their complete potential. In my free time you'll always find me in the gym, or on a football pitch. I have worked as a Data Analyst for a year, which has been a fulfilling experience creating dashboards in Tableau and utilising advanced functionalities in Excel. However, the time has come for me to move onto new endeavours. I plan to spend the next year or two contributing to a business that prepares detailed past paper solutions for the challenging STEP Mathematics examinations, while also developing new IT skills.
