Hello! My name is Joshua, I am a patient tutor with a passion for mathematics, Spanish and economics, I am dedicated to helping students grasp complex concepts with ease. Currently pursuing higher education in economics at a Russell Group University. I bring a deep understanding and enthusiasm to each tutoring session. In addition to my academic pursuits, I find joy and relaxation in playing basketball during my spare time. My love for teaching is matched only by my commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment where students can thrive and achieve their full potential. I have attended Harrow School for my GCSEs and A Levels where I achieved stellar grades at at both levels (all A* at GCSE). At A levels I studied Economics, Maths, Spanish and Further Maths where I achieve A*A*AB respectively. I am currently studying economics at UCL.

I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Plymouth. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping others as it brings happiness and joy to me. This is also the main reason why I wanted to become a tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, particularly football and cricket. I have 2 younger brothers, so I am always entertained. I love talking and spending time with them. For secondary school, I attended the Oxford Spires Academy where I completed my GCSEs. For 6th form, I was accepted by The Cherwell School, where I completed my A-levels. At GCSE level science I achieved a grade 8/8 and at A-levels I achieved grades A in both Biology and Chemistry. In my first year of UCAS application, I did not receive any offers to study Medicine at University. However, towards the end of summer I came across an opportunity to study medicine through an alternative route. The University of Plymouth were offering a one-year transfer from Biomed to Medicine providing one achieved 3 As at A-levels, maintained a 70% pass rate across all modules in 1st year and passed the interview for Medicine. In the previous year only 2/23 applicants were successful in this route. Although this was intense, I was able to successfully transfer from Biomed to Medicine after the 1st year. This year I just completed my 1st year as a Medical student at the University of Plymouth

Hello! My name is Jhuzen, but you can call me Zen. I’m a dedicated Math tutor with over five years of experience specializing in Algebra and Geometry. I’m passionate about making math both accessible and enjoyable, and I always strive to adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s individual needs. I believe that with the right support, anyone can improve their math skills and gain confidence. I have a strong desire to travel the world and immerse myself in different cultures, learning from each place I visit.
