Hello! My name is Anna Mai, and I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying to become an Early Years Teacher. In addition to my current studies, I spent three years studying abroad in the ITEPS International Teacher Education for Primary Schools programme. Studying and teaching alongside people from diverse backgrounds strengthened my communication, adaptability, and intercultural skills while deepening my passion for education. Alongside my academic background, I have gained extensive practical experience working with children. I currently work in a Montessori setting, where I support children's learning through child-centred, hands-on activities that encourage independence, creativity, and confidence. I also work part-time in afterschool care, assisting children with homework, organising educational and recreational activities, and supporting their social and emotional development. I am a Masters degree from Leeds Conservatoire and a BA from The University of Birmingham. I have 5 years of experience tutoring, offering tutoring in English Literature, Language and Drama from KS3 to A Level. I am a motived and hardworking person with a love for teaching and helping students to reach their full potential. I’m a first-year Business student at Nottingham and an International Baccalaureate graduate, offering friendly and reliable tutoring. Alongside academics, I’ve represented Scotland at U21 netball, so I bring discipline, motivation, and a positive attitude to every session. Hello, My name is Varun. I have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield. I'm currently studying my masters in Space Science and Engineering at UCL. I was previously a tutor for 2 years for children in years 8, 9 and 10 in maths and physics when I was in sixth form.
