Growing up in a part of Ireland rich in natural beauty, I developed a passion for hiking and camping, along with music on the Uillean pipes, Violin and piano. I enjoy language learning: specifically Spanish and Russian. Naturally, my main focus is Physics, which provides a constant challenge with every strange concept introduced I attended St. Michaels College, Enniskillen for my GCSE's, of which I obtained 8 A*s and 1 A, before switching to Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in order to pursue Further Maths. I aim to become a physician's associate after completing my masters and working in the paediatrics department sometime in the future. I'm from a very small village near Barcelona, and growing up there gave me the ability to grow up bilingual. I consider myself to be very sociable, and my ultimate favourite thing is to travel and meet new people, I believe that it's the most enriching experience that anyone can have. I am fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English. I attended an extracurricular private English school from a very young age, what made me capable of acquiring an acceptable level of English before moving to England. I've spent the last three years teaching Spanish speakers English, and preparing them for the Cambridge exams. I definitely believe that my experience teaching English to Spanish children and my attendance to an English academy is an absolute game changer, as I know first hand what it takes to try to learn a new language - and let me tell you, it is possible! From the age of 3 I attended a private school in Spain, where Spanish and Catalan were equally spoken. I consider both to be my mother language. From the age of 8 I started attending an English academy as an extracurricular activity. There I was prepared to take the Cambridge English Official Exams. I spent 10 years there, and I'm happy to say that it was the knowledge and experience that I gained there what motivated me to go to university in England. I'm currently studying in London, and I know first hand how learning a new language can completely change your life.

My name is Katy and I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics & Modern History. I have been living in Spain & France so am fluent in both languages whilst tutoring to a wide range of ages for the past few years. I am calm, interactive and experienced and enjoy working with students to help achieve their goals. I am TEFL certified, and have plenty of experience with all GCSE & A level examination boards. With regards to languages, I am able to support students in all aspects of exam preparation, from reading & writing to speaking & listening. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Modern History & Politics from the University of Manchester in 2021, where I specialised in Russian & Chinese history, as well as Modern African history, whilst including modules in advanced Spanish. I completed the International Baccalaureate where I studied a range of subjects including History, Spanish, French, English literature, Physics and Maths.
