Hi, my name is Mads! I am currently attending the University St Andrews, studying for an MLitt in Intellectual History, which is essentially the history of learning and thinking. I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class BA in Modern History. I’m a friendly and approachable tutor, excited to share my love for learning. I teach subjects I have studied previously and still integrate into the focus of my degree, so I continue to study them now! I love animals, board games and books, and look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for my subjects. My name is Ellie, and I am a student at Newcastle University. Despite studying Accounting and Finance, I still love all things English and Maths. Hello! I am a dual Australian–British national and a recent graduate with Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees. Having lived in four different countries, I understand first-hand the challenges and experiences of international students, and I bring this awareness into my tutoring through an empathetic and flexible approach. Last year, I had the opportunity to teach abroad in Switzerland, where I taught English to French, German, and Italian students learning it as a second language. This experience gave me valuable insight into the needs of ESL learners, allowing me to support students in building confidence and fluency in both written and spoken English. *I am currently only taking GCSE & A-level students (AQA). At GCSE level, I completed eight subjects, including a Grade 9 in English Language and a Grade 8 in English Literature, reflecting my strong foundation in the subject I now teach.
