Hi, I’m Jade Flynn, a friendly and passionate Math and English teacher. I love helping students learn with confidence and enjoy. I make my lessons fun and easy to understand by using real-life examples, activities, and clear explanations. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and turning simple moments into learning opportunities. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics, and I am also TEFL certified. My training helped me learn how to teach clearly, manage my class well, and adjust my lessons to different learning styles. I always aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable, and ready to succeed.

Hi, I’m Amy, a qualified science teacher in the UK, with chemistry as my main specialism. I’ve taught across biology, chemistry, and physics, covering everything from radioactive decay to specific heat capacity, and I love finding creative ways to make tricky topics click for students. I’m friendly, patient, and really focused on building kids’ confidence in science, not just their grades I have just completed my studies at Lincoln Bishop University 2025-2026 with a PGCE in Secondary Science (with QTS) Before that, I attended University of Lincoln and completed BSc Forensic Science with honours. ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. I'm into all sorts of things if I'm honest. I am a keen traveller (but who isn't nowadays), audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. Thanks to COVID I learnt a lot of DIY skills through necessity. My house also has a garden full of fruit trees, so I guess that would make me an amateur gardener by default. I try to keep fit by cycling when possible, but my favourite sport is swimming. TEACHING EXPERIENCE/PREFERENCES The subjects I teach are History, English Literature and Language for GCSE and A-level, as well as ESL English. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or more mature students for ESL, but I do have a few students younger than this. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionnaires and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style. Exam Board Experience: Experience of all English assessment boards, but especially AQA and Edexcel in the, and WJEC/Eduqas and OCR to a lesser extent. Languages: English: as a first language to advanced/professional level. Turkish: fluent to college level, but nor advanced enough for teaching purposes.

I am a university student studying Biomedical science in Nottingham. I enjoy studying Biology and chemistry. I will be tutoring Secondary biology and chemistry and also GCSE which I achieved A*s (8) in. I am passionate about studying and enjoy teaching others. I studied Biology and chemistry at Alevel as well as Maths. In GCSE I achieved A*s in both Chemistry and biology and I am currently studying Biomedical science at university, in my in my third year (out of four). I am currently achieving high marks at university and got a 1st overall last year so hoping to keep that up this year. I will be graduating in 2027 and hopefully go on to do a lot more work within Biology and chemistry. I am constantly learning new topics at university so I feel my knowledge is very good and I would have a good understanding about the biology and chemistry topics that students will query about.
