Hi! I’m Antrea, a Product Design Engineering student at Loughborough University with a strong passion for maths and problem-solving. I enjoy supporting GCSE students in building confidence, improving their skills, and reaching their full potential. My lessons are friendly, clear, and tailored to each student’s learning style, helping to make even the toughest topics feel more manageable. I’m committed to creating an encouraging environment where students can succeed and feel proud of their progress. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering at Loughborough University. I have graduated high school with a 19.9/20 Apolytyrion Certificate, in the following subjects: Maths, (Mechanics, A-Level) Physics, (A-Level), Design and Technology (A-Level), Geography (AS-Level) and Greek (Native, A-Level), Art, Craft and Design (A-Level). In all these subjects I achieved an A, with an A* in Art and Greek. I have experience sharing knowledge, organising meetings and lessons since founding and forming my high school's Engineering Club, which I was also president of.

There are 2 things I have loved all my life- reading and music. As such, I play 3 instruments (Trombone, Guitar and Piano), love to sing all kinds of music and dance as often as I can. I also love reading all kinds of things- from Journal articles, to English literature, manga to comic books and even encyclopaedias about insects and animals! I have a Bachelors and Honours in Chiropractic and have just completed my Masters in Chiropractic, making me a fully qualified practitioner. The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. I am an experienced maths teacher/ lecturer. Currently, I work in a training centre, prior to this I have worked in a FE college for more than 6 years, teaching GCSE and functional skills maths. I have also taught ESL to adult groups. I have the experience teaching face to face and online using different platforms. I always worked with children with Special Educational needs from different back grounds. In addition, I worked in primary school supporting year 6 learners to build their maths skills to pass their SATs, before that I was teaching Arabic and Tajweed rules age of 5yrs up to adults. I hold GCSE in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. In addition, I hold A level in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. I also hold BSc Electrical engineering, PTLLS L3 award in education and training and Diploma L3 in teaching and supporting learners.
