Over the past several years, I have taught students from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and ability levels, both in the UK and internationally. My experience spans one-to-one tutoring, small-group teaching, online learning, curriculum design, and academic mentoring. I have worked extensively as an English tutor, supporting students with reading comprehension, analytical writing, essay structure, grammar, and exam technique. Alongside teaching, I have managed the administrative side of educational programmes, coordinating schedules, tracking student progress, communicating with parents, and creating personalised learning plans. This experience has given me a broad understanding of the educational journey from both the student's and family's perspective, allowing me to provide organised, goal-oriented support. My teaching has also taken me beyond the UK. While working remotely and from educational hubs in Mexico, I taught students across different time zones and cultural backgrounds, developing the flexibility and communication skills needed to work effectively with international learners. I spent ten years living in Athens, Greece where I worked as a private tutor: teaching TEFL to a wide variety of people - from complete beginners to students wishing to take Cambridge Proficiency exams in order to access UK universities. I have a BA Hons degree in Modern Languages: English/French with a module in Classical Greek Language and Literature. I believe in stress-free lessons , and learning in a relaxed setting. As a tutor I am not there to add pressure, but to help take pressure off. In terms of hobbies, I love reading, writing stories, and watching Turkish TV dramas. I am also a huge tennis fan.
