I’m Kyle Aron Tan, and I’m excited to support you on your English learning journey. I’m a certified TEFL holder with over two years of experience teaching learners from diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels. In our sessions, I focus on helping you communicate clearly and confidently. I specialize in building speaking confidence, improving pronunciation, and guiding you to express your ideas in a structured and logical way. My background in debate and public speaking also helps me teach you how to organize your thoughts and communicate with clarity. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, and engaging in debate. Reading helps me continuously learn new ideas and perspectives that I can bring into my lessons. Fitness keeps me disciplined and energized, which allows me to stay focused and positive during classes. I also enjoy writing, public speaking, and debate because they help me reflect, organize my thoughts better, and become a more effective communicator and instructor. Our lessons will be tailored to your goals, pace, and learning style. Together, we’ll strengthen your fluency, build your confidence, and make steady, meaningful progress. I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Legal Management program, which provided me with a strong foundation in law, governance, and business principles. My academic journey developed my competencies in legal research, critical analysis, policy review, and professional writing, equipping me to approach complex issues with both analytical and practical perspectives. Beyond the classroom, I actively engaged in student leadership, serving as a Student Regent and Student Council President, where I represented the student body in high-level discussions, contributed to policy-making, and helped implement initiatives that supported academic and student welfare. These roles strengthened my skills in leadership, communication, and decision-making, while reinforcing my commitment to ethical governance and collaborative work. In addition, I am a national debater and a debate trainer for national-level competitors, experiences that have further refined my abilities in argumentation, strategic thinking, public speaking, and evidence-based advocacy. My educational background, combined with hands-on leadership and competitive debating experience, has prepared me to contribute effectively in professional environments that require legal knowledge, organizational management, and strong interpersonal skills.

I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Plymouth. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping others as it brings happiness and joy to me. This is also the main reason why I wanted to become a tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, particularly football and cricket. I have 2 younger brothers, so I am always entertained. I love talking and spending time with them. For secondary school, I attended the Oxford Spires Academy where I completed my GCSEs. For 6th form, I was accepted by The Cherwell School, where I completed my A-levels. At GCSE level science I achieved a grade 8/8 and at A-levels I achieved grades A in both Biology and Chemistry. In my first year of UCAS application, I did not receive any offers to study Medicine at University. However, towards the end of summer I came across an opportunity to study medicine through an alternative route. The University of Plymouth were offering a one-year transfer from Biomed to Medicine providing one achieved 3 As at A-levels, maintained a 70% pass rate across all modules in 1st year and passed the interview for Medicine. In the previous year only 2/23 applicants were successful in this route. Although this was intense, I was able to successfully transfer from Biomed to Medicine after the 1st year. This year I just completed my 1st year as a Medical student at the University of Plymouth

I’m Hafsa, a Public Health graduate with a passion for helping students learn with confidence. I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps and adapting my teaching to each student’s needs. My goal is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where every student can succeed. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Pakistan, where my studies were fully taught in English. My academic background includes science, health, research methods, and statistics. I’ve always enjoyed maths and problem-solving, and my education helps me explain concepts clearly and support students effectively.

I’m someone who really enjoys learning and helping others do the same. I’m patient, reliable, and always happy to explain things in a way that makes sense. I like creating a relaxed, no-pressure vibe where people feel comfortable asking questions. Whether it’s going over the basics or tackling trickier topics, I’m here to help and make things easier to understand. I successfully completed my A Levels with excellent grades, particularly in science subjects, which sparked my interest in healthcare. I am currently a first-year dental student, pursuing my studies with a strong foundation in academic excellence and a passion for oral health and patient care.
