Mubanga has been working with Luke for a month. His approach is just what my son needs right now 2 rise up from the bottom rung: No Waves, just (very) Gentle Ripples. There's constant dialogue, checking 2 c that Luke is always focused with ever relatable questions, always finding a way of squeezing the correct responses out of Luke via hints galore & fun words of encouragemt. His illustratns are clear, concise & easy to follow for future referencing of all lessons in 1 place. IN SUMMARY: Perfect

I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well. Studied at Wilson's School: A-Levels: Further Mathematics - A*, Mathematics - A*, Physics - A*, Economics - A AS Levels: AAAA in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Economics GCSEs: Further Mathematics(9), Mathematics (9), Physics (9), Chemistry (9), Biology (9), Latin (9), P.E (9), French (9), Geography (9), English Language (8), R.E(8), English Literature (7) Experienced in helping younger students with Maths Y7-12 for GCSE to A Level through various clubs and programs run through school.

Hi! I'm Joshua from Brighton, I'm a Physics graduate, with degrees from Leicester and UCL. I'm passionate about making maths and physics accessible and exciting. I've been tutoring GCSE and A-Level students for several years, and what I love most is seeing that "aha!" moment when a challenging concept finally clicks. I remember struggling with certain topics myself during my studies, which makes me patient and great at breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps. My teaching philosophy is simple: master exam technique for excellent grades while building genuine problem-solving skills that serve you long-term. I tailor every session to your unique learning style, whether you're visual, hands-on, or prefer step-by-step explanations. When I'm not tutoring or researching, I enjoy staying active outdoors and keeping up with the latest developments in space science and climate technology. Let's work together to achieve your goals! I graduated with First Class Honours in Physics from the University of Leicester, consistently scoring 80-90+% and winning the Departmental Prize for academic excellence. I recently completed my MSc in Risk and Disaster Science at UCL with distinction. My professional experience includes working with Planet Labs on satellite climate analysis, collaborating with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction on heat wave research, and presenting findings at prestigious conferences including the Royal Meteorological Society and Royal Aeronautical Society. I'm also a committee member at the Institute of Physics Environmental Physics Group. This real-world experience means I can show you why what you're learning actually matters, from satellite navigation to climate science applications.

Hi, my name's Emillie! I graduated from University College London with a First-Class BSc in Applied Medical Sciences, and I am currently a first-year medical student at Queen Mary University of London. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in science, supported by my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and French. This combination has strengthened both my scientific understanding and my ability to communicate clearly and effectively. As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive and organised learning environment where students feel confident engaging with new material and asking questions. I understand that each learner has a unique approach to studying, so I tailor my teaching style to match individual goals, strengths, and preferred methods of learning. Whether students want to build core knowledge, prepare for important exams, or deepen their understanding of challenging topics, I focus on providing structured explanations, step-by-step guidance, and practical study strategies that help them progress steadily. My time studying at university has reinforced the importance of critical thinking, academic resilience, and a positive mindset—skills that I incorporate into my tutoring sessions. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into manageable ideas and supporting students as they develop confidence and independence in their studies. Learning should be collaborative and encouraging. My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more capable, motivated, and assured in their understanding. I look forward to helping learners at all stages achieve their goals and increase their confidence. I began my academic journey at a grammar school where I completed both my GCSEs and A-levels. Studying in this environment helped me develop strong study habits early on, as well as a genuine interest for learning. For A-levels, I chose Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and French. These subjects allowed me to explore my interests in science while also strengthening my analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities. This combination provided a solid foundation for pursuing further studies in the biological and medical sciences. I went on to study Applied Medical Sciences at University College London, where I gained a deeper understanding of human biology, disease mechanisms, and the research that drives medical progress. The course offered a balance of scientific knowledge and practical skills, and I particularly enjoyed developing my ability to interpret scientific literature, conduct laboratory work, and communicate complex concepts clearly. I graduated from UCL with a First-Class degree, an achievement that reflects my commitment to academic excellence and my passion for this field. I have now begun my first year of medical school at Queen Mary University of London. Studying medicine has been an exciting next step, allowing me to apply my scientific background to real clinical contexts while continuing to expand my knowledge. My academic pathway, from grammar school, through UCL, to medical school, has equipped me with strong subject expertise, disciplined study skills, and a deep motivation to continue learning and supporting others in their educational journeys.
