I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with Education units, giving me a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. This background allows me to integrate technology, structured reasoning, and efficient learning tools into my teaching. I’ve completed additional training and hands-on experience that strengthened my ability to simplify complex ideas and support students with diverse learning needs. Years of working with learners of different ages have made me highly adaptable, responsive, and confident in adjusting to each student’s pace. I have been tutoring online since April 2018, predominantly helping overseas students learn English as a foreign language. Curriculum has ranged from Oxford Reading Tree to Reach, using a variety of subjects to help their learning process. Having been diagnosed with severe dyslexia when I was young, I have always had an affinity with those who struggle with education, and have had to develop my own way to learn efficiently, and use this experience to help others. Hi my name is Jesse, I’m a 33 year old German national that has lived in the UK since the age of 12. I work in IT where I speak German on a daily basis. I have been informally tutoring since 2010. I have been tutoring university level German but I’m comfortable with teaching any level of German 😀. I attended the university of Birmingham to complete my Masters in International Relations, after I completed my degree in International Business and German.
