Hi, my name is Sandeep, and I am currently a final year pharmacy student at the University of Birmingham. I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals and making learning engaging and effective. Through my pharmacy training, I have developed excellent communication and problem solving skills, particularly explaining complex concepts into simple terms to patients, a unique skill that I have transferred into the education world. I enjoy breaking down challenging topics and questions into smaller and easier steps to help give students confidence to become more independent. Passionate about chemistry and helping students achieve their potential and beyond. I am a young teacher, with a vast knowledge of chemistry at the KS3, KS4, and KS5 level. This is evidenced by my A grade at both GCSE, and A level. I place a large emphasis on breaking critical concepts down, ensuring students have a sound understanding of foundational aspects of chemistry- which will then allow them to tackle more difficult subject topics. All of my teaching is relevant to the exam board in question, and there is also a large focus on exam technique to ensure you're hitting those top marks! In terms of my hobbies, I love going to the gym, playing sports such as badminton and kickboxing, reading, and playing Call of Duty. My Name is teacher Nomi, I have been tutoring local students for almost 2 years now I assist students from as young as 6 years old and adults as well, I have been focusing on tutoring English and Business studies. I am very passionate about assisting students reach their learning goals, I create a comfortable learning environment for my students which makes it easier and fun to learn I have completed my national diploma in business management at Rosebank College South Africa and I have also obtained my 120 hours TEFL Certificate. I have been focusing mainly on tutoring English and Business studies to the local students in my community I also assist the grade 12 learners to prepare for their exams.

Alongside my English Literature degree, I am a competitive middle-distance athlete and worked within the executive team, as VP of Sport, on my college committee at the University of York. I also enjoyed my role as a course ambassador, speaking to prospective students and parents at open days about studying English at Undergraduate level and university life in general. While at University, I began teaching English Literature and Language via zoom, primarily to GCSE students, with the hope of tutoring at A-Level too. My sessions are always based on the personal areas that each individual student wishes to focus on, to consolidate or enhance their understanding of the given topic. I am patient and understanding, so promise to support each student at their own pace and be not only a tutor, but also a reassuring support-system to whom they can direct any questions or queries. I recently graduated from the University of York with a First class honours degree in English and Related Literature. My modules covered an expansive geographical and temporal range from Latin Literature and the Middle Ages, to the Renaissance and 20th Century American Literature. In my A-Levels, I achieved 3x A*s in English Literature, History and Latin. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in the following subjects: English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Latin, History, Religious Studies and Computer Science, with an 8 in Chemistry.
