I have availability for students as per my calendar availability. I also work with students on a weekly basis at a minimum to ensure momentum and consistency for the student. My latest start time for lessons is 6pm and I start lessons on the hour to maximise my availability for students. I have been an educator and trainer for over 17 years and love nothing more than seeing students achieve their goals. I am a scuba diving instructor as my main role and work all over the world. I enjoy watching Netflix and love diving even when I am not in work. I have been lucky to see a lot of the world through all my roles during my career. I tutor 11+, English up to the end of year 9 only and also tutor mathematics and science up to GCSE. I have knowledge of all UK countries curriculum and also the German curriculum. I myself completed the 11+ equivalent when younger and understand the commitment and learning that is needed to succeed. My favourite subjects in school were maths, science and physical education. I am also experienced in working with children with additional learning needs.

I’m a passionate tutor who genuinely loves teaching and helping students grow in confidence. My lessons are fun, engaging, and educational, and I always adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. Outside of tutoring, I love Pilates it keeps me focused, energised, and balanced, which I bring into my teaching as well. I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology with Data Analytics, which I completed with Distinction at the University of the West of Scotland. Through this program, I developed a strong foundation in core IT principles alongside advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. My studies covered areas such as data analysis, data management, information systems, and the practical application of technology to real-world problems.

Hello, I’m George, a qualified and experienced Science teacher specialising in Biology. I began teaching in a secondary school and sixth form in 2020 and have more than 2000 hours of teaching experience and have taught hundreds of students across KS3, GCSE, and A-level, helping them achieve real progress and confidence in their science studies. My passion for teaching began during a volunteer placement in Ghana in 2016, where I taught English and helped coach local sports teams, seeing first-hand the transformative power of education. I later supported first-year university students as a Peer Assisted Study Leader at the University of Bristol, further developing my skills in guiding students to achieve their potential. I hold a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Bristol and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Secondary Science from the University of Buckingham. Through my university studies, I have not only gained expert science subject knowledge but I also have an excellent understanding of the latest teaching methods to help facilitate learning and, ultimately, help pupils achieve their goals. Beyond the classroom, I have been involved in conservation projects in Sri Lanka and Costa Rica, experiences that have deepened my enthusiasm for Biology and environmental studies — knowledge I bring into my lessons to inspire students. At A-level I then went on to study Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Religious Education and also achieved an AS level qualification in Critical thinking. Following this, I attended the University of Bristol, a Russel Group university which is renowned for its world-leading research and academic excellence. Here, I achieved my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. Following this, I began working towards achieving qualified teacher status and took my first post as a teacher of Science at a secondary school in 2020. I attended the university of Buckingham and completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education with a focus on Science in order to become a qualified teacher. Through my university studies, I have not only gained expert science subject knowledge but I also have an excellent understanding of the latest teaching methods to help facilitate learning and, ultimately, help pupils achieve their goals. Further to this I also have other experience in coaching and mentoring roles. In 2016, I volunteered for 6 weeks in a primary school in Accra, Ghana. My primary role was teaching English to students, but given that I have achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and level 1 qualified rugby coach, I also helped to introduce organised sport in the school and also coached local men's rugby team, the Dansoman Hurricanes.
