Hello, I'm Sophie, a third year Undergraduate student studying Modern Languages at University. I have an enthusiasm for languages and genuinely enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I can guarantee you’ll have productive and enjoyable sessions with me. In my free time I enjoy dancing Latin dances such as Bachata and Salsa, am a white belt in Jiu-jitsu and like socialising as well as practicing my language skills. I am fluent in Russian due to my heritage, and have visited Moscow annually during the summer holidays. I have previous experience with volunteering at the Instituto Cervantes in London for a year, as well as underwent an internship for Language Teaching at a secondary school academy in London. For my third year of University, I have studied for 6 months abroad in Spain at the Auntónoma University of Madrid, specialising in the Spanish language, culture and history. Currently, I am offering tutoring in Spanish from KS3, GCSE to A levels.

Hi! My name is Dipasha and I’m currently a final year Pharmacology student at Queen Mary University of London, with a strong interest in academic research and medicine. Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing tennis and badminton. I also love to explore different places in London and listen to music! I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. For the past seven years I've guided teenagers through reading, writing, speaking and listening, with lessons built around exactly what they're examined on (AQA specification). Before tutoring, I worked as a journalist — and it shaped how I teach: I break grammar down the way I'd break down a complex story, clearly and without jargon, always checking it's landed before moving on.
