I am currently a first year Economics student at the University of Warwick. I have always enjoyed maths and while A-Level economics was a lot of fun and extremely interesting especially during the pandemic, it is taking some time to enjoy studying the discipline at a university level. When I’m not stuck studying or doing some sort of society work I love to go for a run(on the treadmill though), re read any one of Jane Austen’s book or go for long walks with a friend. I am currently studying BSc Economics at the University of Warwick after having completed my A-Levels in Maths, History, Further Maths and Economics achieving A*A*AA in those subjects respectively. While I understand all A-Level and GCSE exam boards, I have the most experience with Edexcel and AQA.

Hi! I’m Haivyn, and I’ve recently finished A Level Biology and Chemistry, two subjects I made strong progress in and now love helping others understand. I know science can be overwhelming, so I focus on breaking things down clearly and explaining them in a way that makes sense to each student. I’ve worked with children in several settings. In a Year 8 science class, I supported students who were struggling by using diagrams, hands-on examples, and simple language to match their way of thinking. Some students needed topics broken into small steps, while others needed real-life links to stay engaged. I also made sure to check in often, praise their progress, and build their confidence bit by bit. At Let Us Play, I supported children with disabilities, helping them feel comfortable, included, and understood. I learned to adapt my communication style and be patient, especially when children needed extra time or reassurance. At Nita’s Hair and Beauty, I looked after children while their parents had treatments. I kept them entertained with games and friendly conversations, and made sure they felt safe and listened to. I completed my GCSEs at Colton Hills Community School, taking triple science, Maths, English Language and Literature, RS, and two BTECs in Sport and Health and Social Care, achieving A*s in sciences and strong overall grades. I then studied A-level Biology, Chemistry, and Economics at The Royal School Wolverhampton, completing my courses and now awaiting results. Following a consistent revision routine helped me excel academically, while playing netball developed my teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
