I aim to become a physician's associate after completing my masters and working in the paediatrics department sometime in the future. Hi! My name is Oliver, but everyone calls me Ollie, and I have been studying Politics at the University of Warwick since September 2023. I did A-Levels in my home city of Liverpool. I love my subject and I love teaching children as I have done before working at Kumon. I play instruments with my favourite being the drum kit, and I love playing board games with people! I also sometimes go skiing with my family. I completed my A-levels in Mathematics, Psychology, and Politics at the Liverpool Blue Coat Grammar School in 2023 and am currently studying Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. I am experienced in teaching both English and Mathematics from ages 4-16 at various levels, as I have done so for Kumon for a number of years before and during lockdown.

Hi, I’m Stephen, a passionate and determined educator who loves learning and sharing that enthusiasm with others. I strive to create a learning space filled with curiosity and wonder, whether in literature or the sciences, helping students explore, question, and grow. Watching my students progress step by step and reach new heights is what drives me as a teacher. Outside of teaching, I’m a gamer, a photographer, and a farmer. Lately, I’ve also been diving into writing, exploring storytelling as another way to inspire and create. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology, majoring in microbiology. Throughout my studies, I had multiple opportunities to tutor others, which sparked my passion for education. Later, I branched out into teaching English to ESL students, where I found great fulfillment in helping learners grow in confidence and communication. Each year, my experience deepens, becoming more specialized as I refine my approach to teaching. I take pride in my ability to adapt seamlessly, both in the moment and through careful planning, to ensure each student gets the support they need to succeed.
