I am entering my third year of General Engineering at the University of Sheffield, specialising in Systems & Control. I tutor Maths and Physics and enjoy breaking own complex topics, into clear, simple steps. I have always loved helping others understand what I have learned, and I am passionate about creating a friendly, supportive learning space where students can build confidence and reach their goals. I completed my A Levels in Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering at UTC Sheffield achieving AAA and a Distinction* in Engineering. I am currently studying for an integrated Master's in General Engineering (MEng) at the University of Sheffield. I am entering my third year in September in which I will be specialising in Systems & Control. My studies cover a wide range of topics including mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits, computing, programming, control theory etc.

I'm currently a 5th-year medical student with a passion for learning and teaching, and I'm actively working towards my ambition of becoming an Ophthalmologist, possibly practicing in the US. With over a year of tutoring experience, I have successfully completed almost 200 lessons with students of various ages and abilities, building a strong track record of helping them achieve their academic goals. Beyond maths, I also have valuable work experience helping primary school children with English as a second language improve their reading skills, which has further refined my patience and adaptability as an educator. This success continued into my A-Levels, where I secured an A* in Chemistry, an A in Biology, and a D3 (equivalent to an A) in History. Currently, I am navigating the exciting and challenging world of medicine as a 5th-year medical student at the Medical University of Sofia. My name is Taliyah. I graduated from Queen Mary University London with a First Class Psychology BSc (Hons) degree. I enjoy playing netball as well as netball coaching and acting! I am passionate about psychology and how it relates to our everyday lives. However, I am passionate about learning as a whole to empower yourself. I obtained GCSE’s grades 6-8 at The City Academy Hackney. I also studied at TCAH Sixth Form graduating with grades Drama (A), Psychology (B) and Biology (C).
