Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! I appreciate people who try, no matter what their ability is, and i love seeing people achieve things that they never dreamed they could. Let me help you do that. Outside of work I enjoy reading, working on my allotment and making art and fabric items which I sometimes sell at craft fairs. Hi, I’m Udit! I’m currently working as a Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. I hold a PhD in Chemistry and was awarded the prestigious Marie Curie PhD Fellowship — a highly competitive international research scholarship. I also have a Master’s degree in Chemistry (with Distinction) and a First Division Bachelor’s in Chemistry. Over the past ten years, I’ve taught Science at GCSE, A Level, and undergraduate levels. I previously taught at Bedford College, where I worked closely with students studying for AQA and OCR exams. I now teach undergraduate Chemistry at university level, and I’m passionate about helping students build a deep and lasting understanding of the subject. In my lessons, I focus on strengthening core concepts so students can approach more complex ideas with confidence. I like to begin by working through a few basic questions to identify areas of focus, and then tailor the lesson accordingly. My sessions usually include discussion, problem-solving, and past paper practice, always with your goals in mind. I’ve been tutoring online for several years and really enjoy the flexibility and focus it offers. I completed my school and sixth form education at St Paul’s Church College in Agra, India, where I achieved strong grades in science subjects, particularly Chemistry and Biotechnology. I then studied for a BSc in Chemistry and Zoology, graduating with Honours in Chemistry, and went on to complete an MSc in Chemistry with distinction at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, India. Later, I moved to the UK to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Lancashire. My doctoral research focused on improving the stability of materials used in solar panels and electronic devices. Through this, I gained hands-on experience with advanced laboratory methods and international research facilities. Alongside my academic background, I have taught science across various levels. I previously taught GCSE Science, A Level Chemistry, and Applied Science courses at Bedford College, where I also led the T Level Science programme and supported curriculum development. I now work as an Associate Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. My main area of expertise is Chemistry, particularly physical and inorganic chemistry, but I also have a solid understanding of Biology and experience supporting students across all science disciplines. My tutoring style is calm, clear, and tailored to each learner’s needs, whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, or looking for extra support at university level. I aim to help students build confidence, develop a deeper understanding of science, and succeed in both exams and future studies.

I have over 10 years of experience in Education, learning, and development, teaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools. I specialise in teaching 11+, Social Sciences and prepping for national exams. I love helping students bridge the gap between what they currently know and what they need to know, by building confidence and resilience in their subject knowledge and approach to learning, especially in areas which they find particularly daunting. Engagement in learning is key. All lessons must be interactive to encourage learning and development. I encourage engagement through quizzes, questions, games, opinions, matching & sorting activities and use of mixed media. I adapt to different learning styles by meeting children where they are at, finding out what they currently know and using that information as a foundation to make learning accessible for them. I use assessments to track progress and plug gaps in their knowledge. My passion is to create successful learners who are able to achieve and exceed the goals they set for themselves. At A-Level, I studied Sociology (Grade A), Psychology (Grade B) and ICT (Grade C) at Southwark College. I then completed my BSc in Sociology and Criminology at City University, achieving a 2:1. I also have a PGCE in Upper Primary which I completed at Goldsmiths College. Additionally, I have a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in Learning and Development.

I am a Masters degree from Leeds Conservatoire and a BA from The University of Birmingham. I have 5 years of experience tutoring, offering tutoring in English Literature, Language and Drama from KS3 to A Level. I am a motived and hardworking person with a love for teaching and helping students to reach their full potential. I received a MA with Merit in Musical Theatre Company from Leeds Conservatoire and I have a 2:1 in BA Drama and Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham. Before studying at university I attended Wycombe High School for 6th Form achieve AAB in English, History and Drama. As well as a B in AS Level 3 Core Maths. I attended Claires Court school for my KS3 and GCSE education. Achieving 1 8, 3 7s, 4 6s and 2 5s.
