Hello, My name is Varun. I have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield. I'm currently studying my masters in Space Science and Engineering at UCL. I was previously a tutor for 2 years for children in years 8, 9 and 10 in maths and physics when I was in sixth form. I'm an avid reader and enjoy creative writing, photography and filmmaking in my free time. I completed my A levels in 2022 in mathematics, further mathematics, physics and design technology. Hi my name is Fatima! I am a passionate and positive individual who would love to help support you in your studies. I have recently completed my A-Levels in Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies. I love to help students understand challenging topics and build their confidence even when it becomes challenging. I believe everyone learns differently, so I will adapt my lessons to suit each student. This involves breaking down challenging topics, practising exam questions, quizzes, active recall and creating engaging revision sessions. As I’ve recently been a student myself, I understand the pressures of exams, grades and revision. I want to make my lessons supportive and encouraging, so students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. We will work through it together and become more confident. I attended Rochdale Sixth Form and completed my A-Levels (2024-2026). My subjects were Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies (Philosophy, Theology and Ethics). I have experience in working with high school students who were choosing their A-Levels. I volunteered to help in sessions for A-Level Religious Studies and helped explain to students what this A-Level involves. I will now be a student at The Open University and I will be studying Psychology with Counselling as my Bachelors Degree. Lastly, I specialise in A-Level Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies. I achieved AAA and have always been very passionate in all three of my subjects.

There are 2 things I have loved all my life- reading and music. As such, I play 3 instruments (Trombone, Guitar and Piano), love to sing all kinds of music and dance as often as I can. I also love reading all kinds of things- from Journal articles, to English literature, manga to comic books and even encyclopaedias about insects and animals! I also rather love technology, and love using technology to learn and help others learn. Furthermore, I like talking to different people and I'm a good listener. I have acquired a level 5 TEFL qualification, certified by Qualifi. I have a Bachelors and Honours in Chiropractic and have just completed my Masters in Chiropractic, making me a fully qualified practitioner. My Masters requires me to complete an original dissertation to be able to qualify and the findings of my dissertation are going to be published in a local journal later this year.

Hi, I'm Komal! I tutor Italian, Maths (GCSE, both Foundation and Higher), Primary English, A-Level Law, and A-level Psychology. Through my Psychology degree, I studied motivation theories in depth, and I draw on this when helping students build revision strategies that genuinely work for them, whether that's a sense of progress, clear goals, or feeling in control of their own learning. I also served as my university's Students' Union President, which sharpened my communication and organisational skills. My goal is to make lessons practical, encouraging, and tailored to how you learn best. A little more about me: I'm a native Italian speaker and also fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, and English, so I love working with students from a range of language backgrounds. Due to my own background, I understand firsthand what it's like to adapt to a new curriculum and language of instruction, and I use that experience to help my students feel confident rather than overwhelmed. I completed my primary and middle school education in Italy before moving to the UK in Year 10, which gave me a strong foundation in Italian language and culture alongside adapting quickly to the English education system. Despite the transition, I achieved an 8 in GCSE Maths, and I'm comfortable teaching both Foundation and Higher level content as a result. I went on to study A-level Maths in college, before graduating with a First Class degree in Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University. This academic background means I can confidently support students in Maths, Psychology, and beyond, while also drawing on my multilingual background to help with Italian and English language learning.
