Hello my name is Carla Edmunds, I am from South Africa, I am a 36 year old English, mathematics, Biology and Geography teacher. I am a qualified preschool teacher as well as a Pastry chef. I love to travel around the world teaching my subjects as well as travel for my leisure , however teaching is my passion, I love to learn from my students as well as making sure that my students enjoy and understand their lessons for the day. Hi! I have just finished my PhD at Bath, developing biosensors for cancer diagnostics. My expertise is in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Physics (in that order!). My undergrad was in Chemical Engineering (via Natural Sciences) at the University of Cambridge. I have experience in teaching students at the University by helping them understand scientific concepts in experimental settings and showing students how these concepts relate to and exist in the real world- not just a textbook!
