Hey, my name is Busayo and I am currently an undergraduate student studying BSc Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at Loughborough University. I love staying active by being in the gym and making good food! Here to create an inclusive environment for every child and make learning that little bit more fun. I attended Hodge Hill Girls School and finished in 2018 with 11 GCSEs all over grade 5 including a Level 2 Distinction* qualification in Hospitality and Catering, Math grade 8, English Literature and Language grade 6-6 , and combined Science grade 7-7. I then attended sixth form at University of Birmingham school where I studied A-Level Math, Chemistry and Geography. I attained Grade BBC (Math - B, Geography - B, Chemistry - C). I am now currently at Loughborough University studying BSc Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying.

As of 2025, I have been a private tutor for a KS3 student (and I am also able to teach at higher or lower levels, such as KS1, KS2, GCSE and A-Level. I have focused on helping this student consolidate their understanding of core skills; where possible, I also aim to stretch the student's understanding beyond their years, helping them to get ahead in their studies. During sixth form, I took part in a project called Maths Masterclasses, where I helped design and deliver lessons to primary school students. Planning my presentation required careful thought about structure, clarity, and how to challenge the students beyond their curriculum. I also completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), researching how education strategies can be used in children’s medicine to give children and their carers better understanding of health. Techniques like “teach back,” where students explain a topic in their own words, have stuck with me as important tools for reinforcing learning. More informally, I’ve often found myself helping friends understand difficult topics, and I’ve learnt how to adapt my explanations depending on who I’m speaking to. These experiences have made me realise how much I enjoy teaching, especially when I can find the right approach to make a tricky concept click. I try to make sessions engaging but focused, and I’m always thinking about how to present information clearly and logically. Away from study, I really enjoy football - I love playing fantasy league and keeping up with scores. I also like to read non fiction (especially Wikipedia these days!) to broaden my knowledge on a wide range of topics. I look forward to helping students build confidence and enjoy learning as much as possible. I completed my GCSEs at Oulder Hill Leadership Academy, obtaining the highest grade available (9) in Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science. I then completed my A-levels in 2024, obtaining grade A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Alongside my A-levels, I gained a range of casual experience during college. I took part in an extracurricular programme called Maths Masterclasses, where I prepared worksheets and delivered presentations to primary school students, helping stretch their understanding of Maths beyond the standard curriculum. I was also a member of the Virtual Medical Society, working with other aspiring medical students to create presentations on topics such as medical current affairs, admission exams, and aspects of the application process. This helped me develop the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence. In addition, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and was awarded an A* for my work. My project, titled The Role of Health Literacy in Preventative Children's Medicine, deepened my understanding of the educational principles used in healthcare and how they can be applied within broader educational contexts.

My training in medicine has greatly enhanced my understanding of the sciences, which I bring into my teaching as a biology and human biology tutor. I have been a consistent high scorer throughout my academic journey and tutor students of all ages and levels, across all major UK boards (England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland). My goal is to make complex topics simple, engaging, and to help every student achieve exam success Languages: English (Fluent), Hindi/ Urdu (Native) Hi! My name is Ridha, I am a Doctor of Medicine. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Anesthesia Technology which adds to my in depth knowledge in the field of science. I realized very early on in my education that a good teacher is what contributes largely in the making of a good student. Not only does one need to put all the efforts on their end but also the guidance of a good teacher is what can drive a student to excellence. My aim is to do exactly that - strive hard on the journey of achieving excellence TOGETHER. As a tutor, I will bring this approach to my style of teaching where I am consistently ready to go an extra mile to not only make my students comfortable but also to make them love what they study as opposed to just looking at it like a chore. Whether it is researching the curriculum with the most updated content to ensuring that they are best prepared to write their exams and that their knowledge is not just short lived, rather they have it strongly fixed in their core memory. As a tutor, I will first build a relationship with my students by earning their trust and learn what it is that they value most and assure them that we will work as a team keeping their best interests at heart. In my classes, I would first like to start with icebreakers so my students will be relaxed and ready to start our study session with a new found enthusiasm before diving into the actual content. Then, I would like to learn about their weaknesses and what it is that they have the most difficulty with and keep those points in mind before starting our lessons. Starting from what is easy and then indulge in more challenging topics. I strongly believe that tutoring is a tailor made approach and no two students are the same. So, it is of prime importance to conform based on what an individual student needs. As tedious as studying can get, it is all the more important in today's day and age to make it more fun and enjoyable and I would like to do just that by including quizzes, games, power-points etc related to every topic especially the ones that are more difficult to understand, so as to follow a more modern approach to studying but also including tests and practice some equations or structures to test their knowledge. Hence, maintaining the traditional approach to studying. At the end of each lesson I will encourage the students to summarize what was taught and also practise active recall in the follow up classes in order to solidify their understanding as well as boosting their memory. I will also include mock tests in their lessons which will mimic the actual exams to prepare them better for the same. In my school years, I have experience with helping/ tutoring my fellow students who needed extra help. It has been one of my most prized achievements to watch them pass their exams with my help and guidance. Going from that to having 45+ current students from all over UK, and over 900 lessons has increased my expertise. I am very organized in my everyday life and studies and will be sure to do the same with my sessions to modulate everything in the most systematic way whether it is addressing my students' queries or communicating with their parents about any concerns that they may have, and giving my honest feedback timely regarding any observations I may have about the student and keep them on top of their child's education journey. To conclude, I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible by being not only their tutor, but also a mentor.

I’m an ESL teacher with eight years of experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in using English. Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, so I’ve learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on what my students need. Outside the classroom, I volunteer in my community, especially working with youth. This is something very important to me because I believe education can really change lives. It also helped me become more patient, understanding, and connected to the real challenges students face. I’m very interested in learning more about education and social issues. I like reading books and doing my own research because I want to improve not just as a teacher, but also as a person. I try to bring these insights into my lessons so they feel more meaningful and relatable. I also love traveling because it helps me experience different cultures and perspectives, which I think is important when teaching language. As a person, I’m goal-oriented and organized, but I also try to stay flexible depending on the situation. I always reflect on my teaching and look for ways to improve. My main goal is to support my students, help them grow, and make learning English something they feel confident and comfortable with. As a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, I am passionate about helping students discover the power of language and develop their confidence in expressing themselves.
