Hi, my name is Mads! I’m currently in my final year of my undergraduate degree at the University of Warwick, studying history. I’m a friendly and approachable tutor, excited to share my love for English and sociology. Both subjects I have studied previously, and integrate into the focus of my degree so I continue to study them now! I love animals, board games and books, and look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for my subject! I am currently attending the University of Warwick, studying for a BA in Modern History. I’m due to start my masters in Intellectual History at the University of St Andrews in September. I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.
