I am a first year biomedical science student at Queen Mary University of London. I have a passion for science and mathematics and enjoy being able to help others achieve their unique goals. I have had a years worth of experiencing in tutoring people between the ages of 5 and 16 years old and I am looking forward to being able to work with a wider range of students. I studies for my GCSEs at Westcliff High School for Girls and achieved the grades 9998888776. I then studied my A Levels (maths, biology and chemistry) at Southend High School for Girls where I achieved ABB. I am now currently in my first year of studying an undergraduate degree at Queen Mary University of London for biomedical sciences. I have spent a year with the company KipMcGrath where I was a student tutor for people between the ages of 5 and 16 years old in subjects including English, Mathematics and Science.

Hi, I’m Cherry Mae Quijano, a passionate educator with a deep love for mathematics. I strive to make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for my students. My mission is to foster critical thinking, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. I focus on creating a student-centered environment where every individual feels valued and empowered to achieve their fullest potential. I hold a bachelor’s in secondary education, majoring in mathematics, and am pursuing a master’s in education. I teach general mathematics and statistics with a focus on active participation and critical thinking. Beyond the classroom, I mentor students, coach for competitions, and foster a growth mindset. My goal is to inspire curiosity and empower students.

I’m an experienced Economics and Business tutor with a strong academic background, including an A* and A at A-Level and current studies at UCL. I aim to make challenging concepts accessible and engaging, tailoring my approach to each student’s needs. I create a supportive environment where students gain confidence, critical thinking, and a passion. I’m currently studying for a BSc Social Sciences at UCL. I took A-Levels in Business Studies, Economics, and History, earning an A* in Business Studies, A in Economics and A in History. I achieved 9 GCSEs ranging from 9-7s, highlighting my commitment and ability across multiple subjects.

I’m a 21 year old dental student studying in Bulgaria. I’ve taught students in the past, mainly during their GCSEs and A Levels, and I’m really excited to start teaching again. I’ve always been passionate about helping others learn because not only does it allow me to support students in building their confidence and understanding but it also strengthens my own knowledge. Outside of teaching, I love baking, painting, and playing sports like badminton :) I attended Nower Hill High School for both GCSEs and A-Levels. For GCSEs I achieved grades 9, 8, 8 in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively. For A-levels I achieved grades AAB in Biology, Maths and Chemistry respectively. I am currently studying dental medicine at the Medical University of Sofia. I have tutored students in the past during both their GCSE and A-Levels.
