I am a 3rd year medical science student at De Montfort University. My favourite subject was Maths. I aim to become a physician's associate after completing my masters and working in the paediatrics department sometime in the future. I teach differently catering for each student differently and to create a positive comfortable learning experience! After 20 years of secondary school classroom teaching in English and History, I am branching out into online teaching. I taught in London, at Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and have since taught in South Africa, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. I run Parkrun, grow and sell organic vegetables, and enjoy wilderness walking. After A Bachelor of Arts in History and English, at Wits University in Johannesburg in 1984, I did a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Education, in English and History. I then taught in London and South Africa for nine years, during which time I qualified with a Bachelor of Education in Applied Linguistics, from Wits University. In 1998, my family and I went to Vancouver, British Columbia, for me to study a Masters Degree in Theology. We returned to SA in 2002. In 2016, I graduated with a PhD in History, at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am currently enrolled for my TTA TEFL certificate, Level 5, to qualify and teach EFL, from April 2025.

My name is Fahima and I am a Second year Law student at the University of Birmingham. Teaching is one of my many passions, and I believe education is more than the pursuit of academic excellence, as a tutor I hope to be able to offer a secure place for children to advance in individuality, and to aid with character development. As an independent, selfless and critically thinking individual, I believe such personal assets, as well as having an empathetic and enthusiastic charisma, will hopefully, enable me to be successful in this field of work, as these are essential qualities vital for an educator. Some of my hobbies include travelling, swimming, and reading! Along with being a full time Law student, I am also a tutor here at GoStudent and I tutor in GCSE Maths Biology, Chemistry and Physics as well as A Level Chemistry and Sociology. I have recently just completed my second year at the University of Birmingham and I am going into my third year.
