Hello! I'm Alex, an enthusiastic English teacher from England with a love for making learning fun, engaging and memorable. I've always been passionate about language - starting from my early school days, where I would read thesauruses and Atlases memorising all the words and capital cities for pure entertainment! Now, I focus on helping students enjoy and remember what they learn, making every lesson both captivating and effective. With a degree in Media, Culture & Social Sciences from the University of the West of England and as a fully qualified TEFL teacher, I bring a rich blend of cultural insight and academic excellence to my English teaching. I’ve traveled extensively across China, South America, and Europe, which has deepened my understanding of diverse learning styles and cultural nuances. In addition to my educational background, I’m also a certified health coach, specialising in holistic healing and self-empowerment. My approach to teaching is holistic and student-centred, fostering a supportive environment where your child can thrive both academically and inter-personally. I’m committed to helping students build confidence and achieve success in their English language journey.

I am known by my peers to be a highly enthusiastic, young healthcare student with a positive attitude towards learning. I have a keen interest in helping pupils excel in their studies by making it easier for them to reach their goals through an adaptable teaching style to meet each student’s needs. Besides academia, I am someone who is passionate about learning languages, as well as playing sports like Badminton and playing guitar. I love trying new things and I am always up for a challenge that may come my way. At university, I was a student representative for 2 years, hence I have experience of being a leader.

Hello! I'm Zarnab Nassir, an educator who believes in the transformative power of knowledge. Teaching isn't just a profession for me; it's a passion that fuels my desire to inspire and guide students toward their full potential. With a deep commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, I tailor my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. Whether it's simplifying complex concepts or encouraging critical thinking, I strive to make learning engaging and accessible. Subjects I teach: KS 1 till KS 3: Maths, Science and English GCSE: Science, Economics, Business, Sociology A-Level : Psychology, Business, Economics and Law Higher Level: Business management, Psychology, Law -Exam Board experience Pearson Edexcel, AQA, OCR, Cambridge and ACCA SEND(Special Education Needs and Disability) experience: Children with autism and students that may have trouble focusing on tasks for any length of time without being easily distracted. Preferred student age group: All age groups. In my classes, I make sure that the lesson is first clearly explained to the students, beginning with the basics and making sure they understand it. From there, I build on that knowledge but most importantly, a foundation should be built

I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.
