Hi! I’m Tia and I have been tutoring for over 2 years now, specialising in Geography, Business, History and Sociology. I aim to make every lesson count and ensure that my teaching style caters to your learning needs at all key stage levels. I have in-depth experience of GCSE and A-Level content, meaning I am able to plan your lessons effectively and deliver them in a coherent way. I am a Registered Psychometrician who has worked in an educational institution for several years. I also have four years of experience teaching English and I am TEFL-certified. During my first year of teaching, I became an assessor for young learners. I assess and evaluate their proficiency in the English language. Additionally, I was allowed to teach Business English to young professionals and businesspeople. I help them prepare for exams and presentations and enhance their professional communication. I also help boost their confidence in speaking. Teaching has always been my passion. It allows me to share my knowledge and inspire my students to succeed. During my free time, I read novels and watch movies. I also love traveling and exploring other cultures and trying different cuisines. I majored in Psychology at the university and earned thirty-nine (39) academic units in my master's degree in Psychological Measurement at De La Salle University. I have always been interested in studying Psychology because it is fascinating. It helps us understand human behavior, thoughts, and emotions. It is like uncovering the reason why people behave in a particular way, which can lead to better relationships and communication. I took the board exams to become a Registered Psychometrician in 2015. As a Psychometrician, I specialize in the development, administration and interpretation of psychological tests that measure a variety of attributes such as intelligence, personality and behavior. I play a crucial role in ensuring these tests are scientifically valid, reliable and unbiased. Furthermore, I love teaching the English language as well. Language is a vital tool for communication, and it is amazingly rewarding to help others develop that skill too.

I am a dedicated math tutor committed to helping students build confidence and develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. I specialize in algebra and Geometry and adapt my teaching to suit each student’s learning style. My approach emphasizes conceptual clarity, problem-solving strategies, and real-life applications to make math engaging and relatable.
