I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying Economics in my first year at university. I teach Economics, Spanish and A-level and GCSE Maths, bringing both academic excellence and a dynamic approach to every lesson. With two years of experience as an 11+ Maths and English tutor at Test Teach, I have developed a strong ability to engage I went to Sutton Grammar School where I got 11 9s in my GCSEs including maths, English language, English literature and Spanish. My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model. Hi! I'm Dhanya, a second year medical student at the University of Bristol. I teach Biology and Chemistry up to A-level standard and have been tutoring now for a year. In my spare time I love to relax by cooking and playing my instruments. In our sessions I aim to give you as much confidence and ability to self-reflect as possible so we can achieve the best outcomes possible! I went to the Henrietta Barnett School from 11-18 years old and got 9 9s and 2 8s in my GCSEs, as well as A*A*AA in my A levels, which were Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Spanish. I applied to 4 medical schools (Bristol, Nottingham, Southampton and King's College London) and received offers from all of them, with Bristol being my first choice.
