Hi, I’m Teacher Camille, a passionate and committed Mathematics teacher! I enjoy guiding students to appreciate the wonders of maths through engaging and creative lessons. My aim is to make every class enjoyable with interactive tasks, practical examples, and thought-provoking problems that inspire curiosity and boost confidence. During my free time, I like playing Scrabble and chess to keep my mind active and imaginative. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education and have 7 years of experience teaching and tutoring students of different ages. I’ve taught high school Mathematics and also worked with primary learners, helping them build strong foundational skills and confidence in problem-solving. I enjoy designing lessons that connect maths to real-life situations, making each topic meaningful and engaging. My experience has also strengthened my communication and creative thinking skills, which I integrate into my teaching to make lessons both effective and enjoyable. My goal is to blend academic excellence with creativity, encouraging every student to reach their full potential.

I am very enthusiastic about Maths and the Sciences. Having just finished my A Levels studying Biology, Physics, and Mathematics at A Level; I understand the challenges students face when learning these subjects and enjoy helping others build confidence and improve their understanding. I aim to make learning engaging and accessible for every student. I recently completed my A Levels at Queen Anne's School, Reading, where I studied Biology, Physics, and Mathematics. I've had a strong interest in science, sport and problem-solving since I started secondary school, which has inspired me to pursue a degree in Sports and Exercise Science at university. Prior to that, I completed my GCSEs at King's Academy Prospect, Reading, achieving good results across all subjects, including Maths and the Sciences. During school, I enjoyed helping classmates with revision, which sparked my interest in tutoring. I am an extremely enthusiastic and positive person. I currently teach English early years, Primary school/Reception year. SEND Primary and Highschool and ESL, with over 25 years experience. Patience is my middle name. I am an energetic and a fun teacher. Using a variety of methods including: auditory, visual, reading/writing, verbal and kinaesthetic movement. I look forward to meeting you, my future student. My academic journey started after high school and continues to present. Studying and learning never stops. It is a part of self growth. I actively ensure I continuously follow CLP. Fields of teaching include: English Reception year, English Primary school, English Primary and Highschool for SEN, SEND and ALN students who are looking to improve their skills in English. I also teach English as a Second language and Business English. An achievement of mine was when one of my students won GOLD at the Shanghai Special Olympics. In January 2025, GoStudent have added AI to GoClass. AI training was completed and is boosting tutoring outcomes.
