Hi, I am Tutor Mega. I have 3 years of experience teaching online and over 5 years of teaching offline. My journey as a tutor started in the university, by helping my colleagues catch up with the curriculum. This passion grew and I absolutely love helping students jump hurdles that seemed like mountains in the past. I am a Pharmacist by profession and this requires a broad knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology to the advanced level, as it is needed to understand, discover and produce medicines for human use. I also have a teaching certificate from the TEFL Professional Institute. I have tutored Biology, Chemistry,Psychology and Physics at GCSE and A-levels, and I have also tutored Pharmacology to medical, nursing, and pharmacy students. I have over 10 years of experience in Education, learning, and development, teaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools. I specialise in teaching 11+, Social Sciences and prepping for national exams. I love helping students bridge the gap between what they currently know and what they need to know, by building confidence and resilience in their subject knowledge and approach to learning, especially in areas which they find particularly daunting. Engagement in learning is key. All lessons must be interactive to encourage learning and development. I encourage engagement through quizzes, questions, games, opinions, matching & sorting activities and use of mixed media. I adapt to different learning styles by meeting children where they are at, finding out what they currently know and using that information as a foundation to make learning accessible for them. Hi, I'm Saanvi! I'm a 2nd year UCL Medical student who has a high-level academic background - I've been teaching since I was in Year 11 and I am open to teaching many GCSE subjects as well as 11+, UCAT, medical admissions help and also A-Levels. I'm very excited to share my knowledge with all of you guys :) I achieved Top 10 in the Warwickshire 11+ exams when I was in Year 6. Then, I attended Nottingham Girls' High School for all of secondary school at which I had a high level academic background, achieving all 9s at GCSEs and all A*/As at A-level. I also achieved full marks in an EPQ as well as 3070 Band 1 in my UCAT. I received interviews from all 4 of my uni choices (Cambridge, UCL, Bristol, Leicester) and received 3 offers (UCL, Bristol, Leicester) - I now currently have passed my 1st year of UCL Med.
