I’m an ESL teacher with eight years of experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in using English. Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, so I’ve learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on what my students need. Outside the classroom, I volunteer in my community, especially working with youth. This is something very important to me because I believe education can really change lives. Hello! I am a dual Australian–British national and a recent graduate with Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees. Having lived in four different countries, I understand first-hand the challenges and experiences of international students, and I bring this awareness into my tutoring through an empathetic and flexible approach. Last year, I had the opportunity to teach abroad in Switzerland, where I taught English to French, German, and Italian students learning it as a second language. This experience gave me valuable insight into the needs of ESL learners, allowing me to support students in building confidence and fluency in both written and spoken English. Education I recently completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree, graduating with a Distinction and receiving the LLM Award for the highest overall grade in my cohort. Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). For my A-levels, I studied English, Religious Studies, Psychology, and completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) - achieving four A*s. At GCSE level, I completed eight subjects, including a Grade 9 in English Language and a Grade 8 in English Literature, reflecting my strong foundation in the subject I now teach.

I am a third-year undergraduate student studying Psychology and Sociology, with a genuine passion for supporting young people in reaching their potential. I have hands-on tutoring experience across Psychology, Maths, Biology, and English, working with children who required additional socioeconomic and special educational support. Alongside this, I work as a Residential Support Worker with children with special needs, giving me a strong understanding of diverse learning needs and how to adapt my approach accordingly. In addition to my formal degree, I have pursued a number of enriching academic opportunities. In 2023, I completed a one-week Psychology Summer Course at King's College London, where I studied and debated topics including the DSM-V, Terror Management Theory and the Mortality Salience Hypothesis, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, and Need-to-Belong Theory. That same year, I completed a Mental Health Warrior Awareness Training Course, a one-day programme focused on building awareness of the daily challenges associated with mental health disorders, including those that are often invisible or overlooked. In 2024, I also attended the INSEAD Business Summer School, broadening my understanding of leadership, strategy, and the intersection of business and human behaviour.
