I am a first-year Mathematics undergraduate at UCL with a strong academic record across mathematics and the sciences. Alongside my studies, I have always enjoyed helping others with their learning and regularly supported classmates at school when they needed extra explanation or guidance. This experience has shaped my clear, patient approach to teaching. I take pride in being reliable, well-prepared, and committed to helping students build both understanding and confidence in their subjects. I attended secondary school in Cambridge where I achieved eleven 9s at GCSE, with full marks in GCSE Portuguese, an A in FSMQ (Additional Mathematics) and four A* grades at A-level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry).

About me I love to travel, explore new places and meet people from different cultures. I spent ten years living in Athens, Greece where I worked as a private tutor: teaching TEFL to a wide variety of people - from complete beginners to students wishing to take Cambridge Proficiency exams in order to access UK universities. I have a BA Hons degree in Modern Languages: English/French with a module in Classical Greek Language and Literature. I believe in stress-free lessons , and learning in a relaxed setting. As a tutor I am not there to add pressure, but to help take pressure off. In terms of hobbies, I love reading, writing stories, and watching Turkish TV dramas. I am also a huge tennis fan. Last, but not least, I enjoy all forms of sugar - especially cake! Aside from my degree, I am qualified to teach TEFL. I really enjoy working with those who don't have English as a first language. It's a thrill to help them improve their speaking and listening - as well as reading and writing skills. It's wonderful to see them grow in confidence when expressing themselves in English. Furthermore, I am qualified to do proofreading. This fits in well with teaching English. I also have a certificate in Counselling Skills.

I hold a Master’s degree in Genomic Medicine from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, giving me strong subject expertise and a clear, structured approach to teaching even the most challenging topics. I specialise in GCSE and A Level Science, with a strong focus on exam technique and mark schemes. My students typically improve by 2–3 grades through targeted practice and clear, exam-ready explanations. What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps, adapt to each student’s learning style, and ensure consistent progress through accountability. My lessons are designed to build confident, independent learners who achieve top grades. I am a PhD student in post-quantum cryptography. I have a BSc and MSc in pure maths. I have been tutoring maths since 2018 to undergraduate, A-level and GCSE students. I actively contribute to the mathematical community. Organising Junior Maths Seminars at King's College and serving as the Imperial College MSc Pure Maths Class Representative showcase my commitment to academic leadership. I bring a diverse skill set and a passion for problem-solving to any mathematics-related roles. PhD researcher in post-quantum cryptography at Imperial College London, with a BSc in Mathematics from King's College London and an MSc in Pure Mathematics from Imperial. Skilled in Python, R and C++, with a strong interest in AI, machine learning and their scientific applications.
