Growing up in a part of Ireland rich in natural beauty, I developed a passion for hiking and camping, along with music on the Uillean pipes, Violin and piano. I enjoy language learning: specifically Spanish and Russian. Naturally, my main focus is Physics, which provides a constant challenge with every strange concept introduced I attended St. Michaels College, Enniskillen for my GCSE's, of which I obtained 8 A*s and 1 A, before switching to Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in order to pursue Further Maths. Here I obtained an A*A*A* grade in Maths, Physics, and Further Maths. I’m currently studying a Physics degree at the University of Edinburgh

I'm a recent grad from Warwick University, while I was there I enjoyed playing dodgeball, going for hikes and learning the guitar. I look forward to seeing movies at the cinema and cycling on the weekends as well as visiting museums and galleries. I also have a pet cat. I completed a BSc in Mathematical Statistics (with Computer Science) at the University of Warwick. My course was intensive, covering broad areas of pure and applied maths, theoretical statistics, statistical modelling and programming. As many of my modules were geared towards data science, much of my learning culminated in an undergraduate research project in machine learning - exploring how machines encode information on the neuron-level.

Hi! I’m Catherine Solomon, a tutor passionate about turning tricky concepts into “aha!” moments. My goal is to create a positive space where learning is fun, clear, and rewarding! I hold a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, where I honed problem-solving skills and discovered a passion for teaching as a part-time tutor in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Science, and Math. Also, I make sure all my students understand very well and don't get bored in our sessions. In addition, I'm very energetic and patient. I lean on these qualities heavily while I’m tutoring. I think my energy helps keep students engaged and motivated with the material, and my patience allows them to move at their own learning pace comfortably.
