My training in medicine has greatly enhanced my understanding of the sciences, which I bring into my teaching as a biology and human biology tutor. I have been a consistent high scorer throughout my academic journey and tutor students of all ages and levels, across all major UK boards (England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland). I also have a Bachelor's degree in Anesthesia Technology which adds to my in depth knowledge in the field of science. I realized very early on in my education that a good teacher is what contributes largely in the making of a good student. Not only does one need to put all the efforts on their end but also the guidance of a good teacher is what can drive a student to excellence. My aim is to do exactly that - strive hard on the journey of achieving excellence TOGETHER. As a tutor, I will bring this approach to my style of teaching where I am consistently ready to go an extra mile to not only make my students comfortable but also to make them love what they study as opposed to just looking at it like a chore. Whether it is researching the curriculum with the most updated content to ensuring that they are best prepared to write their exams and that their knowledge is not just short lived, rather they have it strongly fixed in their core memory. As a tutor, I will first build a relationship with my students by earning their trust and learn what it is that they value most and assure them that we will work as a team keeping their best interests at heart. In my classes, I would first like to start with icebreakers so my students will be relaxed and ready to start our study session with a new found enthusiasm before diving into the actual content. Then, I would like to learn about their weaknesses and what it is that they have the most difficulty with and keep those points in mind before starting our lessons. Starting from what is easy and then indulge in more challenging topics. I strongly believe that tutoring is a tailor made approach and no two students are the same. So, it is of prime importance to conform based on what an individual student needs. As tedious as studying can get, it is all the more important in today's day and age to make it more fun and enjoyable and I would like to do just that by including quizzes, games, power-points etc related to every topic especially the ones that are more difficult to understand, so as to follow a more modern approach to studying but also including tests and practice some equations or structures to test their knowledge. Hence, maintaining the traditional approach to studying. At the end of each lesson I will encourage the students to summarize what was taught and also practise active recall in the follow up classes in order to solidify their understanding as well as boosting their memory. I will also include mock tests in their lessons which will mimic the actual exams to prepare them better for the same. In my school years, I have experience with helping/ tutoring my fellow students who needed extra help. It has been one of my most prized achievements to watch them pass their exams with my help and guidance. Going from that to having 45+ current students from all over UK, and over 900 lessons has increased my expertise. I am very organized in my everyday life and studies and will be sure to do the same with my sessions to modulate everything in the most systematic way whether it is addressing my students' queries or communicating with their parents about any concerns that they may have, and giving my honest feedback timely regarding any observations I may have about the student and keep them on top of their child's education journey. To conclude, I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible by being not only their tutor, but also a mentor.

I am an extremely enthusiastic and positive person. I currently teach English early years, Primary school/Reception year. SEND Primary and Highschool and ESL, with over 25 years experience. Patience is my middle name. I am an energetic and a fun teacher. Using a variety of methods including: auditory, visual, reading/writing, verbal and kinaesthetic movement. I look forward to meeting you, my future student. My academic journey started after high school and continues to present. Studying and learning never stops. It is a part of self growth. I actively ensure I continuously follow CLP. Fields of teaching include: English Reception year, English Primary school, English Primary and Highschool for SEN, SEND and ALN students who are looking to improve their skills in English. I also teach English as a Second language and Business English. An achievement of mine was when one of my students won GOLD at the Shanghai Special Olympics. In January 2025, GoStudent have added AI to GoClass. AI training was completed and is boosting tutoring outcomes.

Hi my name is Nayab and I am an Aeronautical Engineer working in a Mechanical Engineering role. I have been teaching various students since I was 16 as I enjoyed teaching and helping others achieve their best. I have taught various students in different years and different abilities and have also been referred to many others through word of mouth mainly. This would be my second time working through a company platform. Masters in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough University. Currently working as a Graduate Engineer in Network Rail since 2022 and also filling out my chartership application. A*ABBC in A-levels including Maths and Physics, 5A*’s, 5A’s and 2Bs in GCSEs including Maths and Triple Science.

I am a motivated and intellectually curious student at the University of Edinburgh studying a Masters in Social Anthropology with Development, with a strong academic record and a commitment to continuous learning and personal development. Having excelled in my GCSE’s (all A*/A**) and A-Levels (Psychology, Geography, Religious Studies), I am currently achieving a first class in my degree studies. I am personable, organised and diligent, with a confident communication style and strong interpersonal skills. In my free time I enjoy sports including, swimming, running and rowing alongside reading, both fiction and non-fiction. I am also very creative and I enjoy sewing and painting. I completed my 11+ whilst at Loreto Preparatory School. I then completed 9 GCSEs at Cheadle Hulme School in English Literature (grade 9), English Language (grade 9), Maths (grade 8), Dual Science (grade 8-8), Geography (grade 9), Spanish (grade 8), Religious Studies (grade 8) and Art and Design (grade 9). I then completed 3 A-Levels at Cheadle Hulme School Sixth Form in Geography (A*), Psychology (A), and Religious Studies (A). I achieved the highest mark in my year group for both my Geography coursework and final A-Level exams. I also achieved an A* in both my HPQ (Higher Project Qualification - 49/50) and EPQ (Extended Project Qualification - 45/50). I am a first year student at the University of Edinburgh studying a Masters in Social Anthropology with Development, currently achieving a first class in my degree studies. I specialise specifically in social sciences, geography and philosophy and ethics.
