I am a first-year Mathematics and Statistics student at the University of Warwick. I have been living in the UK for the past five years, where I completed my GCSEs and A Levels while born and raised in Hong Kong. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at A Level, giving me recent first-hand experience to understand the challenges that student face. What makes me stand out as a tutor is my ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and approachable way and try to spark their interest in the subjects. My goal is to explain concepts methodically to allow students to understand and build confidence in the subject. My aim is to ensure that students grasp the reasoning behind each method while developing the fluency needed to apply their knowledge when required. I will try to tailor my lessons to each student's individual goals through encouragement, critical thinking while most importantly developing independent study habits that will benefit them throughout their education. In addition, my experience volunteering to teach mathematics to primary school students has shown me the importance of patience, encouragement, and building mutual trust. I believe meaningful progress comes from creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. Therefore, I hope students can achieve academic success and develop the confidence and study skills that will support their long-term growth from me. I have studied in the United Kingdom and I completed my GCSEs and A levels at The Manchester Grammar School. I studied the subjects English Literature, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, History, Electronics, Chinese and achieved 8 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s. I studied Mathematics, Further mathematics, Chemistry, Physics for my A levels and achieved 2 A*s in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and 2 As. I have volunteered for 6 months in a primary school to teach maths.

Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. Hello, my name is Edden Fernandez. I am 24 years old, and a Licensed Professional Teacher currently teaching English subject in a private school for three years now. I enjoy helping people learn new things, like spelling words, solving puzzles, or even teaching them songs. I feel happy and proud when I see them understand something because of what I taught them! I believe teaching is such an important profession and vocation, and I want to inspire kids to do their best. When I’m not teaching students, I have a lot of hobbies that keep me busy and happy. I love playing table tennis because it’s so exciting and keeps me active. I also enjoy writing stories, especially about fun adventures and inspiring characters. Reading novels is another favorite of mine—I love diving into new worlds and learning from the stories I read.
