Hi! I'm a student at the University of Bristol studying a degree in Mathematics and Physics. Studying maths at a degree level means I am constantly working with complex mathematical concepts everyday, and I plan to bring that depth of understanding when tutoring GSCE and A-level Maths. I have around a year experience in tutoring GSCE Maths, which has helped me develop a clear and effective teaching style. Also, having completed my A-levels during 2025 summer and achieving an A and also a grade 8 in GSCE Mathematics, I have a strong understanding of exam content and also effective advice for revision, ensuring student success in exams. Hi! I’m Emilia, a Maths and Physics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students gain confidence in STEM subjects. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-level, and recently completed my BSc in Mathematics and Physics. I’m now continuing my studies at the University of Cambridge, where I’m pursuing a Master’s (MPhil) in Data Intensive Science. I’ve been tutoring for the past two years, working with students of all ages and abilities, from primary school through to A-level. Most of my experience is at GCSE level, where I particularly enjoy helping students prepare for exams, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build genuine understanding rather than just memorising formulas. Outside of tutoring, I love combining my interests in science, coding, and education, as well as exploring creative projects that make complex ideas easier to visualise and learn. A junior Finance manager in the NHS.Previously a primary class teacher. I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 8 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Experience of tutoring online and in person therefore able to adapt to students learning. Achieved A*-A’s in GCses for maths and triple science . Continued with maths and science into A-levels. Also studied further maths at GCses and also able to teach it .
