Hi, I’m Nushra Imtiyas a passionate and dedicated teacher of Mathematics and English, committed to helping students grow in both confidence and ability. I believe learning should never feel overwhelming, but instead be engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable. Whether it’s analysing a text or solving a challenging Maths problem, I design lessons that spark curiosity and build independent thinking. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear, and relatable steps, making learning easier and more effective. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, where students are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and actively participate. In English, learners explore characters, themes, and real-life connections, while in Maths, concepts are linked to everyday situations to make them practical and easy to understand. I use visuals, real-world examples, guided practice, and engaging activities to support every learner. Most importantly, I focus on building confidence step by step, celebrating progress and helping students move from “I don’t understand” to “I’ve got this.” Beyond teaching, I enjoy reading, playing netball, and jogging, which helps me stay energetic, focused, and positive in every lesson. For me, teaching is not just about academics it is about inspiring confidence, developing resilience, and helping students reach their full potential. I graduated with a degree in Software Engineering, with a strong focus on English, Mathematics, and Information Technology. This combination has given me a balanced approach to teaching, blending logical thinking with creativity. Over the past six years, I have taught and tutored students of different ages and abilities, which has helped me grow not only as a teacher but also as a supportive mentor. My academic background has strengthened my understanding of language, problem-solving, and effective communication. Through my experience, I have developed the ability to plan lessons that are clear, engaging, and well-structured, making learning feel manageable rather than overwhelming. I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs, whether a student benefits more from visuals, discussions, hands-on practice, or step-by-step guidance. This flexibility allows each student to learn in a way that works best for them, helping them progress with confidence. Most importantly, I aim to create a warm, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Hi! I'm a student at the University of Bristol studying a degree in Mathematics and Physics. Studying maths at a degree level means I am constantly working with complex mathematical concepts everyday, and I plan to bring that depth of understanding when tutoring GSCE and A-level Maths. I have around a year experience in tutoring GSCE Maths, which has helped me develop a clear and effective teaching style. Also, having completed my A-levels during 2025 summer and achieving an A and also a grade 8 in GSCE Mathematics, I have a strong understanding of exam content and also effective advice for revision, ensuring student success in exams. I focus on breaking down hard topics into simple clear explanations , helping to build understanding, student confidence and also exam technique through practice. I will tailor each lesson based on the students individual needs, ensuring they feel supported and make progress. I am patient, relatable and also very committed in helping students achieve the best of their potential. I studied my GSCEs in Chatham Grammar School, achieving grade 8 in GSCE Mathematics. I then went on to study a levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics at Rainham Grammar School, achieving a grade A in Edexcel Mathematics. I am now currently a first year, going onto second year, studying a BSc Mathematics and Physics at University of Bristol

Hi! I’m Emilia, a Maths and Physics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students gain confidence in STEM subjects. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-level, and recently completed my BSc in Mathematics and Physics. I’m now continuing my studies at the University of Cambridge, where I’m pursuing a Master’s (MPhil) in Data Intensive Science. I’ve been tutoring for the past two years, working with students of all ages and abilities, from primary school through to A-level. Most of my experience is at GCSE level, where I particularly enjoy helping students prepare for exams, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build genuine understanding rather than just memorising formulas. Outside of tutoring, I love combining my interests in science, coding, and education, as well as exploring creative projects that make complex ideas easier to visualise and learn. I’m currently studying for an MPhil in Data Intensive Science at the University of Cambridge, where I’m developing advanced skills in computational methods, statistics, and physics-based data analysis. Before this, I completed a BSc in Mathematics and Physics, which gave me a strong foundation in mathematical modelling, mechanics, and problem-solving. At school, I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at A-level, subjects that sparked my long-term interest in science and set me on the path I’m on today.

A junior Finance manager in the NHS.Previously a primary class teacher. I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 8 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Experience of tutoring online and in person therefore able to adapt to students learning. Achieved A*-A’s in GCses for maths and triple science . Continued with maths and science into A-levels. Also studied further maths at GCses and also able to teach it . Can also help with student who study Statistics GCSE. I can also aid in 11+ students as i am familiar.
