My responsibility in my role, is to assist students when help is required. I have gained skills in time management and teamwork. I am a Medical Doctor on a new journey to further my education. I have approximately 5 years of tutoring experience across the board. I mainly started tutoring as a way to learn and retain the content for good grades. I found that when helping my peers I also helped myself improve my grades. In lower level I have experience tutoring Science and Math while in GCSE and A-Level I tutor Chemistry, Biology and Math. In higher level tutoring, i offer services on any Subject health related eg Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology etc. I offer my services to any student who is willing to learn. I am fluent in speaking and writing English and Swahili. During my leisure time i enjoy reading a novel, spending time with friends, road trips, baking and movies . I’m Akosua, a Chemical Engineering student who enjoys understanding how things work and finding new ideas to explore. I’m naturally calm and steady, and I like taking my time to think things through. I am now studying for a BEng in Chemical Engineering at Swansea University, where I’m building a strong foundation in engineering principles, laboratory work, analytical thinking, and applied scientific methods. My academic strengths and specialisations are in mathematics, chemistry, and physics, which support both my degree and my wider academic interests. Alongside my formal education, I’ve gained experience in customer service, child supervision, and scientific environments through roles at Argos, Sunday School, and placements at Lister Hospital, GSK, and BP.
