Passionate about chemistry and helping students achieve their potential and beyond. I am a young teacher, with a vast knowledge of chemistry at the KS3, KS4, and KS5 level. This is evidenced by my A grade at both GCSE, and A level. I place a large emphasis on breaking critical concepts down, ensuring students have a sound understanding of foundational aspects of chemistry- which will then allow them to tackle more difficult subject topics. All of my teaching is relevant to the exam board in question, and there is also a large focus on exam technique to ensure you're hitting those top marks! In terms of my hobbies, I love going to the gym, playing sports such as badminton and kickboxing, reading, and playing Call of Duty. Hi, my name is Sandeep, and I am currently a final year pharmacy student at the University of Birmingham. I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals and making learning engaging and effective. Through my pharmacy training, I have developed excellent communication and problem solving skills, particularly explaining complex concepts into simple terms to patients, a unique skill that I have transferred into the education world. Hi! I'm Olivia and I am a 4th year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde. I chose this degree as I'm passionate about Maths and Physics, taking both up to Advanced Higher level while at secondary school. I'm focused right now on tutoring up to GCSE level or equivalent. I have experience tutoring up to this level in both Maths and Physics through a programme led by my university. I also have experience working with younger children as a football coach to girls aged 5-9 at Queens Ladies and Girls Football Club. Outside of my studies I enjoy running, travelling and reading to name just a few interests. In terms of lessons, I tend to tailor each lesson and teaching method to each pupil. I mostly use worksheets to reinforce knowledge and build students' confidence in their chosen subject. I will also set quizzes prior to each lesson for the student to complete to allow me to understand how they have progressed since the last lesson. I am a 4th year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde. Hi! I'm Connor and I am studying Physics at university! At uni my favorite topic is space and galaxies. In my spare time I work on old cars and do astrophotography. I am dyslexic, so I understand that different people have different approaches to learning and that there is no single correct way to go about it! I enjoy learning and would like to share my passion with others :). I am currently attending the university of Liverpool studying Physics going into my third year of undergraduate study aiming to complete an integrated masters and hopefully move on to a PHD. so far over both year one and two I have averaged a first class degree whilst still maintaining my hobbies and a job on the weekends.
