Second year physics student at Lancaster university. Active in the Doctor Who society, though not knowledgeable enough to take part in the whoniversity challenge. Also the proud owner of several plants which are surviving surprisingly well; and I always seem to have a couple of creative projects on the go. Currently in my second year studying physics at Lancaster University. I sat AQA A-level Physics in June 2023 and also did A-level edexcel courses in Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths, achieving As in Physics and Maths. In 2022 I did a 10 week course of helping year 5s complete experiments and teaching them about the scientific method; as well as completing an externally-marked, independent research project.

Hi, I'm Leigh, and I have a strong background in Civil Engineering. I'm deeply passionate about this field because it beautifully combines creativity, problem-solving, and real-world applications to shape the world around us. But my love for learning doesn't stop there—I have a profound passion for teaching as well. I find immense joy in sharing knowledge, inspiring others, and helping them achieve their goals. Whether I'm explaining technical concepts or mentoring aspiring learners, teaching allows me to connect with people and make a positive impact in their lives. For me, learning should never feel like a chore. It's a journey of discovery, growth, and excitement. When learning is fun and engaging, it becomes more effective and meaningful. I hold a degree in Civil Engineering, and I am currently pursuing a course in Education. Transitioning into education has been a deliberate and meaningful decision for me. Hi I am Iqra, 4th year Medical Student at the University of Nottingham. I achieved highly during GCSE and Alevels. I can tutor both A-level and GCSE biology and Chemistry. I also have a degree in Biomedical sciences (Bmedsci) I am friendly , approachable and keen to help students accomplish the best results. I will keep lessons fun and interesting keeping students engaged at all time. I will help tackle your weaknesses and help improve the exam technique. Having gone through many Alevel and GCSE past papers myself for both AQA and OCR exam boards I understand the exam techniques and certain patterns in exam questions. I also create personalised progress trackers for all my students which they can use during both their personal studies and in my lessons as well. Having recently gone through my Alevels whilst also applying for medical school, I understand it can be a very stressful time. I will make sure my students are heard, by regularly checking in with them to make sure they are making the most of our lessons. I will conduct regular quizzes to help make students knowledge and exam technique stronger. I will also give tips on how they can manage their time effectively in their biology and chemistry exams. I have great enthusiasm and interest in biology and I believe it has always been my strength.
