Hi, I'm a second-year Aerospace Engineering student with a strong passion for Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. Throughout my studies, I have developed a solid understanding of these subjects and enjoy helping students build confidence in areas they may find challenging. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps and using real-world examples to make learning more engaging. I am currently entering the second year of my Aerospace Engineering degree at university, where I am developing advanced knowledge in mathematics, physics, engineering principles, and programming. Prior to university, I completed A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, subjects which continue to form the foundation of my degree studies. Alongside my academic studies, I have a strong interest in problem-solving and analytical thinking. I was awarded a Bronze Certificate in the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) competition and a Bronze Award in the British Physics Olympiad (BPhO), demonstrating my ability to apply mathematical and physical concepts to challenging problems beyond the standard school curriculum. I currently tutor Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, helping students improve both their understanding and confidence. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps, using worked examples and real-world applications to make learning more engaging. As a current engineering student, I am able to show students how the topics they study are applied in higher education and industry.

My name is Fernanda and I am 23 years old, with a BSc in Forensic Science from the University of Kent. I am Peruvian, my first language is Spanish, and have been living in the UK for the past 3 years throughout my university career. I have been studying English and have had all my classes in English since I was 4 years old. I am a big fan of musical theatre (won't speak about it unless asked about), sports such as volleyball and athletics and dancing. I studied Forensic Science (Hons) and graduated from the University of Kent with a Upper Second Class Honours (2:1). I completed my A-Levels (Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry) and IGCSEs in Epsom College in Malaysia. I have experience tutoring and helping students from primary school and my classmates throughout my academic journey. I have also been a EAL teacher at a summer camp in Malaysia where I helped develop the English Language of primary school students who had very little English to none at all. I am currently a Teaching Assistant where I work with kids of different ages, ranging from 11 to 16, and different age groups. I assist in GCSE mathematics, English and Science as well as Year 7 core subjects and additional.

University student currently doing an MSci in Biomedical Sciences, with a passion for lab research. I also love to write in my spare time. My goal as a tutor is to help students be proud of the work they have accomplished and find their own interests, not just pass their exams. I attended Wildern Secondary School, leaving with ten GCSEs, all at grades 8 and 9. I then attended Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, doing A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and English Language & Literature as well as an EPQ. I achieved BBAA* for these subjects.

My students typically improve by 2–3 grades through targeted practice and clear, exam-ready explanations. What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps, adapt to each student’s learning style, and ensure consistent progress through accountability. My lessons are designed to build confident, independent learners who achieve top grades.
