I teach Philosophy, Ethics, and Religious Studies up to GCSE level. I teach English to French students and can speak conversational French to aid this. I tutor students working towards their IELTS qualification. I have a Masters in Mental and Moral Science (Philosophy) from Trinity College, Dublin and am looking to further my formal education in the coming years aside from the countless MOOCs I've taken ranging from Opera to Counter-Terrorism classes. I enjoy Creative Writing and am always penning stories or poetry. Hi! I’m a friendly and dedicated tutor who loves helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I’m a huge Manchester United fan — I try to catch as many games as possible and really enjoy the teamwork and strategy behind the sport. I’m also part of a competitive bhangra team, where we perform at events and competitions across the country. Being involved in bhangra has taught me valuable lessons in discipline, teamwork, and performing under pressure — qualities I bring to my tutoring sessions. When I’m not dancing or watching football, I’m a big Formula 1 fan. I love the blend of precision, strategy, and constant improvement involved in the sport. To stay active and clear my mind, I enjoy swimming, which helps me stay focused and refreshed. Recently, I’ve started learning to play the guitar, picking up my favourite songs one at a time. My name is Jillian Rowe, and I am a passionate Mathematics Teacher who finds true joy in teaching. I love teaching because it deeply satisfies me to be part of my students’ success, and it is very rewarding to witness their growth and achievements. I teach Mathematics to learners of any age, and my mission is to make the subject more approachable and less intimidating. I also live by the belief of working hard until I reach success, a mindset I encourage my students to adopt as well. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading inspirational books, singing, jogging, and walking, which keep me motivated and balanced in both life and work. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education, Major in Instructional Leadership, at Pangasinan State University, where I have consistently maintained excellent grades. I previously graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics, at John Paul College, which gave me a solid foundation in teaching and learning.
