Hi, I’m John Audry, an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher! I have over two years of teaching under my belt, and I have always loved helping students explore the world of mathematics in engaging and innovative ways. My goal is to make learning mathematics easy and exciting for everyone through interactive activities and stimulating problem-solving sessions that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. Also, I make sure to give real-world applications of the abstract theories in mathematics to make it feel more relatable. In my free time, I enjoy working and designing machines and engines, which has developed my attention to detail, and has helped me stay sharp, focused, and analytical. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, where I gained a robust foundation in mathematical theories, scientific concepts, and their real-world applications. My studies equipped me with the knowledge to provide you with excellent mathematics education, and the skills to work with other people with diverse backgrounds. I attended Pimlico Academy School from 2004 - 2009 where I completed my GCSE and my first year In my college in Physical theatre and English literature. I moved on to Lewisham College where I studied mostly in Theatre but also included Dance, Art, SInging training and directing. I then studied Physical theatre at ST-Mary's Univeristy, where I completed a BA Hons with a 2:1.

I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.
