I’m Imnan Malik, a motivated 1st year Medical Student with strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. My academic strengths in A-Level Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry (achieved A/A* grades) reflect both my dedication to learning and my ability to explain complex topics clearly. Through my volunteer work as a youth worker and hospital befriender, I’ve developed patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt my approach to different individuals. I’m passionate about tutoring because I enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts, supporting their academic growth, and building their confidence in learning. I began my secondary education in 2018, where I completed 9 GCSEs with top grades (9–7 / A*–A). During my time there, I demonstrated strong academic performance across a wide range of subjects and were actively involved in the school community. Notably, I was elected Student Voice Prime Minister, a role that required people to listen to and represent your peers, lead initiatives to improve the school environment, and market school events. In September 2023, I attended Sixth Form, where I pursued A-levels in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, and achieved A*AA*. These subjects require strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills, and my performance reflects both my academic diligence and passion for science and mathematics. I also hold the position of President of the Medic Society, where I chair meetings, organise keynote speaker events, and collaborate with peers to support aspiring medical students, further honing my organisational and leadership abilities.

I have been teaching since 6 years in the field of Mathematics from Primary Level to A-Level. But in 2020, i switched to online mode of teaching to reach the students across the globe. I love to teach the topics through practical examples so students can connect to the real world problems. I always try to create a friendly atmosphere in the classroom so that studies wouldn't seem like a burden. I'm highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners. I have three degrees ; Masters in Mathematics, Bachelor in Mathematics (honours) and Bachelor in Education. Because of the love in the subject, I can't keep myself away from it. I’m a 4th-year medical student who enjoys finding a balance between academics and creativity. When I’m not studying or working on university projects, I love going to the beach to surfing. I also enjoy being on stage and taking part in theatre productions, as acting allows me to express myself in a completely different way. In quieter moments, I like to dabble in a bit of art through painting and crafts, and more recently I’ve started learning how to crochet, which has been both fun and rewarding. I’m also an animal lover, especially cats in particular. I enjoy using my creativity most when it comes to teaching, finding ways to make learning easier and, just as importantly, enjoyable. I believe that learning is not just about absorbing knowledge but also about building a skill that you can use throughout life I attended West Buckland School from Year 7 to Year 13, between September 2016 and July 2022. In 2020, I completed 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 6 to 9, including a 7 in English and Physics, an 8 in Mathematics, and a 9 in both Biology and Chemistry. I then studied A-levels in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry, alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification. Now I am a 4th year medical student.
