I’ve since graduated with an MPharm degree from the University of East Anglia and am currently completing my hospital training year as a trainee pharmacist. Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for 8 months. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where my ambition is to become an ACA Chartered Accountant. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths and Chemistry and then Economics up to and including year 13 students.

Milo here - an incoming first year medical student and aspiring surgeon, with a passion for medical education. Outside the lecture hall, you’ll find me pushing limits in the gym or tackling challenging trails on my mountain bike, always chasing my next adventure. I’m a life long learner and crave knowledge - I feel a high degree of satisfaction passing on this knowledge throughout my time as a tutor, from breaking down complex theories into understandable chunks of information, to finally being able to answer that tricky exam question; I will be there to support you in your journey through the education system. My teaching style consists of ensuring fundamental topics are well understood - thus building on this foundation with direct application to exam board questions. I do not teach outside of the relevant specification. Once content is well understood, lessons with me will be almost entirely exam question based, working through past paper questions together or sharing thought processes - working with me will ensure you are ready for your GCSE and A-Level exams. My name is Samhita Andhavarapu and I'm a 1st year med student studying abroad! I did Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-level I will be teaching A-Level Maths and Biology I have some experience in teaching both subjects when I used to mentor some students in high school with GCSE maths and Biology I am determined to prepare well before the class. Therefore, I will try to adapt my teaching style to the students needs and based on the best way that they learn. I got A's in both subjects at A-Level I got A's in Maths and Biology at A-Level. I received a 7 in GCSE Biology and a 9 in GCSE Maths and Further Maths. As I am now studying medicine at university I feel like my level of knowledge for Biology and Maths is strong. However, if I do not know something I will be prepared to learn and then help my student understand the concept of the topic.
