Hi, I’m Kenn Sean, a passionate English teacher who loves introducing students to the beauty of literature and language. Through engaging discussions, creative activities, and multimedia tools, I aim to make learning dynamic and enjoyable, helping students build confidence, express themselves, and discover new perspectives. I hold a degree in Secondary Education, specializing in English. My academic journey equipped me with expertise in linguistics, literature, and instructional strategies. I was born in London but raised in Barcelona, so I am fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick. I enjoy going on walks, visiting historical sites, meeting friends, swimming, reading, and writing. I did a Spanish Baccalaureate in Barcelone, at Colegi Montserrat de Vallvidrera. I chose the Science baccalaureate, which included Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as well as History, English, Spanish, Catalan and Philosophy. Currently I am obtaining by BCs in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick.

I have availability for students Mondays and Wednesdays daytimes only. I also work with students on a weekly basis at a minimum to ensure momentum and consistency for the student. I have been an educator and trainer for over 17 years and love nothing more than seeing students achieve their goals. I am a scuba diving instructor as my main role and work all over the world. I enjoy watching Netflix and love diving even when I am not in work. I have been lucky to see a lot of the world through all my roles during my career. I tutor 11+, English up to the end of year 9 only and also tutor mathematics and science up to GCSE. I have knowledge of all UK countries curriculum and also the German curriculum. I myself completed the 11+ equivalent when younger and understand the commitment and learning that is needed to succeed. My favourite subjects in school were maths, science and physical education. I am also experienced in working with children with additional learning needs.

I am an energetic, passionate young academic with a Bachelors in Arts and an ongoing Masters in Literature, Languages and Cultures department. I have been tutoring for 3 years now and have experience in language tutorship. With my passion for English language and literature, I am sure I could assist any student on the path towards their goals! Lower level: English GCSC: English A-Level: English BA in Film and Media with First Class Honours at Newcastle University; MSc Intermediality: Film, Literature and Art in dialogue at the University of Edinburgh (ongoing).
