With over a year of experience in ESL teaching and two years as a coach for Math Quizzers, I’ve had the joy of helping students improve both their language and problem-solving skills. Whether you’re learning the basics or exploring more advanced concepts, I’ll guide you step by step with patience and creativity. In our lessons, I use interactive activities, real-life examples, and a positive approach to help you build confidence and truly understand math. Hi, my Name is Chiara. I am a passionate qualified teacher. I have 10 years experience teaching in a classroom and 4 years experience in online teaching. I really love to teach students online. About Me: Reception and Primary: English, Primary Mathematics , Primary social sciences- Geography and History , life orientation/life skills , religious education and primary sciences. Exam Board Experience: SATs 11+ Experience with : KS1, KS2 and KS3 learners as well as learners with learning barriers. Languages: English Experience with disabilities / special needs: I have experience with learners that’s have barriers to learning for example : Dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, Autism and other barriers to learning. Preferred age group : 5-14 year olds About Me: I am a passionate and qualified primary school teacher. I am from South Africa. I have a Bachelor of Education degree intermediate and senior phase, I did my honours in Inclusive Education and I have 180hour TEFL certificate. I teach in English as this is my first and native language. I also speak Afrikaans and very basic Italian. I am a passionate and experienced teacher. Both in the classroom and online. I have taught children with barriers to learning. I have taught primary subjects such as Maths, English, Natural Sciences, Biology, History and Geography as well as life orientation/life skills. I am very flexible and can help out children from the ages 5-15. I have been an online tutor for almost 4 years. I am familiar with the UK curriculum as well as the preparation for SATs and 11+.

I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

I'm 22 and from Leeds. I've tutored maths for 4 years from Ks2 to A-level. I went from a grade E to A at A-level by finding a learning style that worked for me outside of the classroom and want to help more students do the same! In my spare time, I enjoy boxing and playing piano. I also love football (unfortunately a Man Utd fan!) I studied at the University of Leeds for 3 years between 2021 and 2024. I studied an Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Prior to this I studied Business, PE and maths at A-level getting A* A* A respectively. I achieved a grade 8 in maths at GCSE.
