Hi! I have been teaching French, German, English and Italian for 12 years. I love art, walking and keeping fit. I have lived and worked in Italy. I have worked with both adults and children. I also run a regular arts club for young carers. I have helped students gain qualifications in languages such as GCSE's. I have always been very interested in learning languages. At school I gained a GCSE in French, German and Modern Greek. I have an A-level in French and German and then I studied Italian and German at The University of Birmingham and gained a BA joint hons in German and Italian.

Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! By working through past paper questions and understanding what examiners look for, my students build confidence in applying their knowledge effectively under exam conditions. A typical lesson with me involves reviewing key topics to ensure a solid understanding of the subject matter. We'll start by discussing the areas where the student feels least confident, addressing any questions or difficulties they have. Throughout the lesson, I offer feedback to help improve their exam technique, highlighting common mistakes and strategies for tackling tricky questions. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Essex (UK) with a degree in Biomedical Science (BSc), giving me a strong foundation in Life Sciences, including Biology. Prior to that, I took my Leaving Certificate in Biology, Chemistry and Physics (all higher level) in Franciscan College Gormanston, Ireland.
